Polished and polished and polished the chassis

The underside looks great

And my shock towers (BezerkRC) and Spur have arrived. Still waiting on a set of rear uprights and hubs. Then I will need to order a bodyset, and looking at wheels and wings from JC Racing.

I was doing some test assembly, and discovered the RHS lower bulkhead is broken, I didnt notice this on disassembly so will be sourcing this next

Didn’t realise I hadn’t posted this pic here, the 2 front hubs were very worse for wear, I have a new in pack pair on their way to me

The kit specific lower bulk head parts are impossible to find, and although there is a 3D printed option, I decided to research other Yokomo parts, and found that ZS-300RTG (For the MR4-TC) bulk head parts are very very similar. I was able to locate NIP parts locally (again) so grabbed them today. The upper bulkhead part is identical to the 2 I already sourced, so now I have 3. These new parts are carbon reinforced which is a bonus. But…….the RHS is slightly different. The circled bit in the pic below will interfere with the slipper assembly, so a grabbed the dremel to remove it. Will tidy it up a bit, but now the parts will work fine.

I’ve also started assembly of front and rear diff’s and the slipper assembly

I had to file that part when I modified the MR4 -BC bulkhead for the LWB conversion I did on it, I also fitted the MX-4 slipper. It didn't occur to me until you posted the photographs that the mod was also needed to accommodate the slipper.

The rear hubs (orig) that i had on order didnt turn up, so have been refunded. Now waiting on a set from Rubrix Racing. Still need to finalise some electronics (might just put some generic cheapie in for now while I consider and search for something better. Still need body, undertray and wing, and a JC Racing wing and some wheels.
