That's another...the one I was thinking about though was a black tub with all minty white Team and GT parts. I think someone here might have picked it up off of eBay.
Do you have any more details on that? I had never seen it, but looks very similar to what I came up with. Did this "sidewinder" kit also use GT parts? Or did they have some wacky way of sending power to the stock trans?

That's all the info I've got. I thought I had some more pics of a buggy with that conversion, but can't seem to find them now

The Brahma kit was out several years before the GT was. It also predated the A-Main/Dudgeon kit.
The Moody kit was for 10T and fit buggy as well, used stock trans with belt drive and was out before the GT...

This was the initial mockup

So it flipped the trans around? How does that work out with the bulk head and shock tower? Did they supply those things with the kit? The GT is pretty much just an inverted rear drive & suspension set up with a different bulkhead.
Kind of a neat kit, like a miniature go-cart.

The link shows the full build, but yes- flipped and braced.

I've still got one nib also gotta thank Marlo for them! He wouldn't break the rules and sell to me before he was "approved" so it took a while

Crazy how time flies. I knew these pictures looked familiar, then saw I replied to this thread, I looked at the date of the thread. Wow I can’t believe how long ago some of this stuff was.
Anyone see a traxxas Nitro rim. They look like they might fit a 1/4 axle. And there 2.2 rims.

No i'm talking about the rear ones. They look like thay might fit the rear. And then you could put 2.2 rear tires on a RC10 with out having to do anything to it.
picked this up with a couple other 80's cars, but can find anything online about this. I have no idea what it is aside from having a Thunder Tiger motor. any help IDing it will be appreciated. I'd like to get it driving, it seems rather complete...

It's worth what someone's willing to pay. :) Put it up for sale at what you're comfortable with, and go from there.
Hi,
I am looking for an alternative body for the Traxxas Nitro Buggy. The Original has an cage around it. Does anyone know a body which fits nicely around the outlines of this chassis? I looked at the bandit body, but I am not sure, has anybody...

Of course that's a trx1 body on same chassis for comparison. Body could go down in front but hits the tub sides already.
Anyone know anything about this? Interwebs search does not produce all that much. Edit: I am realizing this is the same / similar to a Robbe Panterra. And the fact that Panterra is mentioned, makes it more awesome!
I am picking up this little beaut...

any chance you happen to know where to find parts for these?
Ralph @ wms rc shop seems to have the front knuckle(s) you need:
He is in Germany, so shipping will be a little $$$ and long, but he is a nice guy to deal with and prices are good.
