I've finally finished (well, almost) the LX-T that I used to race as a kid at local carpet ovals. This is probably one of my favorite builds since I've had this old girl for so many years.
Here's the parts I started with that have been on the...

Wow!!! Super job on the stripping. That jrxt shell looks wicked!
Thanks! It was a slow process and took about 2 weeks total. I just soaked a rag in DOT 3 fluid and put it inside a plastic bag. I did the front first, then the sides and roof, then...
First off I must give Todd (romulus22) a huge thanks for giving me the opportunity to own such an amazing RC10GT.
This truck doesn't need anything to look pretty on the shelf. I wanted to freshen it up and give it that like new appearance, tidying...

Those are awesome. My blue chassis GT truck is that clean. I'm getting the body for mine painted really soon. I just have to get a few more details to get ironed out for it. Will post pics when done.
I just got done refreshing my original 1988 RC10. Built it originally when I was 10. I have kept it kinda up to date up to 1994 and then just last month got it out. Almost 28 years sitting in storage. OH boy I feel old. So I had to rebuild a few...

Do the outdrive still have the smaller bearings inside them? If so, then I think the spacer is less important.
Yes the inside bearings are still there. I added the outdrive because I read a post saying that the support is needed if I put a...
So I’ve always wanted a shot on the txt. Massive wheels and a lot more scale than a clod etc. There are also many build options so it’s a great platform. Only now are Axial coming up with the MT to match its kind.

Well I think I got it wired correctly. If/when I put power on it, we'll see. :D IMO, looks so much better without the brick there! The body and roll cage are probably going to end up being future projects, so it will probably be sitting like this...
So I’m restoring a JRX2. The chassis I’ve got is decent but needs a bit of tlc. I hit it with fine grit paper and that helped. Anyone do anything else like paint it? Thanks

Great looking buggy! One of my favorite things about the original Jrx2 is the sleek bumperless front end.
I picked up this Sledgehammer a while back, and it has finally ended up in the work queue. Bought it form the original owner who lived a couple of hours away. I could tell he loved the truck, and it came with a tackle box full of spares, and I could...

And then the MCI decal set came with the Hedman Hedders sticker overlapping the main line decal. This is legitimately how it is scanned and printed. I appreciate what MCI does, and I will continue to be a customer of theirs, but something like this...
Here is my new Yokomo MX4 with Masami style painted body. This is a very clean buggy and all I added was new wheels and tires. I am looking for period electronics and motor.
