Well for one the alloy will not flex and cause other stuff to break. Second it wasn't made right for the LXT body mount.

Ok, got the quote. Things look about the same as the xx bulkhead. The odd angled holes for the top brace make it a little more complex/expensive to make.

After VONATS we will get the CAD revised for the RPM mods to what we already have. Then the file goes for injection molding optimization.

We will be doing White and Black as molded colors.

Pre-Orders will be offered this time when we get CAD done. We will have a threshold for pre-orders that will then put it into production.

Sounds mighty fine! I guess, since there's no purple I'll have to get a black, and a white.

*sorry your message was altered by mistake, DAN*

Original message was asking about selling these on eBay.

We can't sell pre-order items on eBay. Their policy doesn't allow speculative sales like this.

Hey Dan,

I want to put in some pre-orders before the deadline (apr1st). My question is, will more be made beyond the pre-order volumes? Or is it like, once it's over, it's over?

(trying to spend a reasonable amount at a time, otherwise I get pounded on with import fees)

Thank you again 8)

This is a pre-order for production. We will be doing plenty to cover pre-order and more. I have extended the deadline to the end of April but that will be the one and only extension.

If anyone is waiting to order until once they are made then you probably will not see these getting made at all. We need the orders to justify making them. It is a huge amount of money to get the mold made. It isn't looking great, to be honest, that we will make the pre-order amount. If that is the case then we will refund everyone and these will get put on the back burner until we get other projects done.

Cheers Dan.

As said, wasn't clear to me how many (if any) were going to be done beyond the pre-order volumes.

Putting in the pre-order now...

Thanks,
Paul

Dan, I just pre-ordered 3xA1003's... and another Losi $9.99 LXT part. shipping is $16+, which is fine with me If the 1003's get done. Otherwise, i would appreciate to get in touch directly as I would like to use the A1003's funds to be used for something else so that I don't end up paying $26+ for a simple piece of used losi plastic :?

Please let me know.

Thank you,
Best Regards,
Paul

I really thought there'd be a lot more interest in this. :( Every time I check the web site, I get a bit bummed. I'll try throwing the link out on the old FB again. :P
