Question on RPM Ultra Molded Chassis

I recently acquired a RPM 10T ultra molded chassis kit and need to get a rear motor guard for it. Will the Worlds RC10 rear motor guard work? They look identical in the images I researched. These things are like hens teeth to find.

You can email RPM and get one direct from them for like $10.

They're the same as the ones for the RC10 graphites, just ano'd black.

I wanted to share this one with you guys, it's almost finished, some details may still change like wheels and tires. I still have to catch a XX Losi body and a wing also...

The recipe:

- RPM ultra-molded chassis (used)
- RPM front bulkhead (new)...

I have one built and signed by Richard Royal and I must now have enough parts to build 2 other ones. I didn't need this one but it was sooo cheap I couldn't pass it up,...

Figured some would like to see/ buy this. I would love to have it, but $1000 seems..pricy? Any comments about that..is that the going price for these rare chassis's?

I started with a new chassis that I found at a car show/swap meet earlier this year. I'm adding some Tecna turnbuckles, HG vlt shocks and a Hydradrive unit to the Steath trans( Thanks Rob for the help with the stealth version instructions 8) .

Nice build! Jammin Jumper body? I wonder if Traxxas stole the design from Jammin for the Bandit? A fitting name for the car...

Hello all,
I picked up an RPM 8090 truck chassis that is solo.
I am trying to understand what parts the 8080 buggy and the 8090 truck have in common.

It seems many parts in the center of the chassis would be the same.
My guesses are:
Battery...

I wasn't expecting the rear bulkhead to be different. Were the shock towers just stock?

Correct, and the towers weren't included in the kit.

I am officially an RC10 owner. What better first car than this beauty. I just received.

Vintage Team Associated RC10 Gold Pan RPM ULTRA MOLD.

Has stealth transmission and Losi HydroDrive.
Period correct tekin ESC and unknown brushed motor.

Well the Rpm 10T that was for sale on here. The frist guy fell through. So I pick it up. And what a nice truck it is.

I wash and the part and it came up like new. the only thing is the 2 holes that some one drilled in it. but there not that bad....

Yeah I don't mean the entire rear end, just the bit behind the gearbox. It'll flex but eventually it might break. I wouldn't risk it.. Also kind of defeats the purpose of a motor guard when the motor guard can move enough to hit the motor.
