Hello all
I have a problem with my outrage. I have upgraded to hobbywing quickrun 1060 esc + cap pack due to esc running into limb mode. My motor is 12T or 14T team orion brushed. i have 15t pinion and 41t spur (both are the stock ones). I have upgraded to 2s lipo and 2.2" tyres front and back. Ambient temp is 36 Celsius. The problem is that despite the cap pack esc is getting into limb mode again and i googled that maybe it is thermal cut off due to overheating.
I guess ambient temp plays a role but I wanted to ask if my gearing is right? due to bigger wheels and the motor change.Do they stress my motor and esc.

I should've titled this one: What it is, but never was :lol: .

Anyhow, this one was a weekend project using left over project parts and an old car I ran back in the 90's.

With the exception of the chassis, this one is a Turbo Ultima.

IIRC, the Kyosho Outrage MK2 came out in 1993/1994. Would someone with an Tower Hobbies catalog check if I'm right and also was it a kit or RTR. While your in there, what was Tower's price?

That is also my opinion, that the S versions should fit. I hope the diameters for the screws etc. are identical.
Also good to know the size in inch. I was always looking for mm.
I will stay with the S Version at the rear side....
