Modernized Goldpan, narrow rear wheel base

Been fiddling with rear wheel base for a while but still not satisfied. Found this pic online which may be a solution. I think they installed B4 rear arms/hubs maybe? Any help would be appreciated. Part numbers would be wonderful from the cva bones out to the rims.

Those are Klein rear arms on that car, similar to the RPM Worlds arms. They are longer than standard RC10 arms. Depending on how you mount them, the axle can be positioned in the factory location or extended out.

Do some searching on WOIN (whats old is new) cars around here, you will find plenty of options.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I'm rebuilding and modernizing a RC10CE (last produced gold pan) which I bought in pretty rough shape on eBay. I've put modern 2.2 wheels on it modern electronics (hobbywing, skyfly) and its running well. I am looking to replace the old rc10 dog...

If you have that blue anodized cone-shaped washer that comes with the Worlds CVA conversion kit put that inboard and maybe like 2 of the 3 thin washers, then put the 3rd outboard. Annoying that you have to do this, but works like a charm.

Can you tell I am going through a bunch of parts?
Tried google and can't find answer
I have yellow tag package of a3030. Says NEW Narrow Rear Axle Set.
Any ideas on this one? Later XX models, or maybe XX4 or Street Weapon.
Looks to be an optional...

Ok, the clue was in the picture. The thin skims.
The a3030 has the pin hole closer to the hub. Then you can't use that thicker spacer and need the thin skims instead. This must have been used to put different rims on the older cars and maybe stay...

As the title says: why do 1/8 buggies run narrow tires and wheels in the rear?

back in the days you would see 1/10 buggies with wide fronts, but now all have narrow fronts and wide rears. Trucks are wide in the front and back and 1/8 buggies are...

I do prefer the staggered look even on 4wd. At least on full scale cars, a narrower front tire tends to induce understeer.

Agreed on truggies, those things would be voted least likely for shelfer status in 20 years, beating out the RTR Slash.

Sorry if this question has come up before, I couldn't find it in a search here... does anyone know if there is a major difference in the rear wheels of the B4 and B3? I'm rebuilding a B3 and have sourced parts to be able to use B4 front wheels......

Are all the rear wheels for XX, XX-4 and XXX compatible? I just got an XX-4 and I have part # A-7141 yellow 5 spoke rear wheel which fits as it should but I just got part A-7105 rear wheel white and A-7105 is up against the rear hub and doesn't...

I use the wider XXX wheels on my DoubleX buggy (the modern tyres sit better on them) I've trimmed off the top-most 'lug' on the hubs, its a hole/camber position I've never used before.
