Have a few small issues to work out before it is ready for glamour shots, but the body is basically done.

Not sure if you knew this but the Gambler sprint car chassis company was named after Kenny Rogers and basically advertised him for 20 years.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

I did not know this, but as someone who puts Kenny Rogers on a very high pedestal, it does not surprise me! I am now seeing inspiration for my future Ascot build. :D

I will admit to watching the pit/race scenes involving this car a couple of times. The close-ups of Kenny driving are great! He is leisurely holding onto the steering wheel in a single position while he is in the turns, and although his car has no windshield, his beard indicates no breeze.

I made the decals myself, and they aren't pro quality, but acceptable (which is my usual standard). There is a "1/10" decal set on eBay, and I did order it, but its scale was a little too large for this particular body. With it though, I could easily scan in the numbers and signature, and resize and print/cut as needed. Oh, the eBay stickers also come with a white border around them, which I really don't like.

Got her pretty much wrapped up. I am 90% happy with the chassis, and 80% happy with the body.

Special thanks to Jeff @ FTW for the chassis and shock towers. The front tower is stock TM, and the rear is my best interpretation that I could come up with from looking at Badger towers online.

For anyone not familiar with the inspiration car (maybe not an international hit), it is from Six Pack. You can watch the whole thing on youtube.
