Which Custom Works CVA/CVD kit for B4?

Post by R6cowboy »

Need to find out which Custom Works CVA and/or CVD kit(s) fit the RC10 B4. Which kit(s) have 3/16" axles and the correct length dogbones & axles. Or which dogbones and axles individually. Thanks.

The schmedium bones are too short for the B4.

I just added 10 to cart is that place legit? I’d call and verify. I don’t need any but that would be awesome for r6cowboy. He could use those and the custom works axles

Just ordered the shiny CVD bones from sheldons, and the Custom Works CVD axles and CVD rebuild kit from Amain since they had them in stock.

Thanks for help fellas

Curious how much too short?
I'm thinking about ordering a pair of each Custom Works CVD and CVA bones and axles so to get lengths and diameters of them all, and make a thread of them.

I count 7 sets of used B4 CVDs on eBay right now. If I was looking for a set for a runner, I'd go for this set with the blue backstop washers.

Ouch, bummer.

For what it's worth, Custom Works didn't elaborate when they told me they don't offer anything that fit the B4. Top secret stuff, apparently.

Thanks Ed. Yeah I had all those on my watch list. But I just did another search and found another MIP shiny bone set on ebay listed for $40 OBO, I offered $30, they countered immediately with $35. So ended paying $43 total instead of $26.
This is going to be a B4 shelfer, so I was preferring bones as nice looking as possible.

Sorry about that. At least they delisted them from the website.

Thanks for inquiring about that by the way.
