Good thing to know, I'll keep that in mind. I've been looking at the TBG Kyosho USA-1 body. It does look thicker.TycoTamiya4eva wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 8:01 am TBG bodies are so thick to cut. I always buy an extra one because I now I will mess something up

Instead of sanding do any of you use a rotary tool instead?

I use both. I use drums in tighter areas and flaps in wheelwells. Sanding block on flat runs.Brendan2904 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 10:58 pm Instead of sanding do any of you use a rotary tool instead?
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I'll use a drum or a stone to clean up a badly cut areas or for curves that are too tight for curved scissors.

Body scissors, Dremel, and sandpaper seems to work fine for me.

I totally stink at body work so I have always been worried about using the rotary tool. That video was great for using the exacto knife so maybe I should give it all a try.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 3:23 amI use both. I use drums in tighter areas and flaps in wheelwells. The bionic eyes and Wolverine claw are an awesome combination. Only gripe is that the magnification starts to give me a headache. But repeatedly cutting in the same score line is something I thought was impossible to do. The magic is real.
. .
When using scissors I try to never do a full blade length snip. That always seems to result in a flaw at the end of the cut.
