Connectors are based off an AMPS design

I have just replaced the wiring on some of my old ESC's, so I'm now looking for some vintage battery connectors to finish them off..

These ESC's will be going into my 6 gear Graphite, Caddy Gold Tub, and RPM Team Car Conversion..

So I am sure there is a significant difference but I would be interested to hear peoples opinions. Just how different are the new cars vs. the vintage version (say '88 - '94). Is is just that a lot of the carbon and trick parts of the vintage era...

I am new to this forum, yet wanted to share my most recent RC10 build.
I plan to race this buggy in a vintage 2wd class (if it doesn't qualify because of some of the mod's I'll just use it for fun/practice). I have a few nice RC10's that I don't...

Yes, it is much different than what I started with. Often projects go like that. ;)
I like how this is turning out and plan to get some track time either later this week or next (unless they close the track due to the Corona virus)....

Browsing TLR's website to get ideas, I happened across this image, and was wondering what was going on with the very vintage electrics.

This was on TLR's page for the 22 5.0 Elite DC kit, due in September.

I'm working on a mid motor RC10 rerelease, but i need to choose a body. I'd like to try to use a modern looking body (even if it is an ugly cab forward design) because it would fit the profile of my chassis better.
Does anybody know of any modern...

The jconcepts detonators do have a nice cab shape that works well with a mid motor tub. They are rather narrow up front to fit to the tub closely.

In the same way that there is a MMV Buggy build off, I thought it might be a good idea to also have a truck build off with similar rules.

This should make our builds more fun and add extra motivation to them.

I realized that even with the wide RPM arms my jrx-T is very narrow with modern wheels on it due to the dirrerent wheel offset. Has anyone tried to put something like holeshots or bow-ties with foams onto Vintage Losi 3-piece wheels? Will they fit?

anthony, you could've grabbed a set of hpi super star mt wheels. then you wouldn't have had any backspacing issues. i ran then on my junior-t all the time bitd.
