is there a way to remove stains from the anodization?

the picture doesn't really show the "stains" that well, but does anybody know of a way to clean the anodized aluminum to get rid of them and have an even color?

Looks like a battery vented on the chassis (pretty common) not anything that can be done for that, it "eats" the crystals off the aluminum similar to oven cleaner.

I picked up some bodies with stickers I want to remove. What is the best way to do it without damaging the lexan?

Lighter fluid works well for getting off the stick. the kind you use for a zippo. Doesnt hurt the lexan. Don't see why denatured alcohol wouldn't work too.

How do i remove the chrome from traxxas pede/rustler wheels? They are new but chrome is disappearing off them as they sit and want to use them with proline front wheels on my rc10 scorcher project to put sandpaddle tires on them.Don

Recently I bought this new built Worlds car from a member on here. He said the chassis was scratched from the factory. That's AE for ya... :roll:
Anyway, I would call it more of a scuff mark than a scratch per se, it doesn't really seem to have any...

No apology needed man, you were very up front about it, I knew it had it. In fact, I was expecting it to be worse! :P

Anyway, it's all good, I'm pretty sure I can get rid of it one way or another.

Hi Guys

what's the best way to remove the thick roll pin that keys in the rims on the old rc10's UJ's? I had one stuck on a car I'm working on right now, and it took much more efforts than needed to remove it, I eventually had to start drilling it...

Here's a pic of the type of pliers I use. You can put a lot of force on the axle shaft with these babies. I think this method has only failed me once on a very corroded pin.

mmh I used first a leatherman and then later on some chunky industrial...

So i have a set of Tecnacraft wheels but they have paint on the back from being mounted to some painted hubs. Anybody have an idea how to remove the paint without hurting the Ano?

On a side note i also tried the acetone trick to remove some tires from a set of wheels, it also worked great, i was worried during the process, the tires kinda grew and got really soft, but after the glue was gone and the tires sat for a wile they...
