I want to use a set of Brat tires on my buggies, but I want to use the Tamiya rear wheels so I can swap them between my RC10 and my Wild One. CRP has the adapters, but they say you need an extended axle or some kind of barrel nut, and they don't...

I always wanted a Monster Beetle or Blackfoot back in the early 90s.
Since Tamiya hasn't remade the original Blackfoot I bought the remake Brat.

I know its not totally the same as the Blackfoot, but it was still fun to put together. Man the front...

Ok, so I put a brushless engine (5.5) on a brat, RESULT: 15 minutes of fun a burnt gears!!!!! OUCH!!! I guess it was too much power. Or was it because it wasn't correctly mounted??? Still have to take it apart to see what the damage is. Has anyone...

No stock as a rock. Replaced the rubber boots on the drive shafts to some 8th scale shock boots. A lot freer in the drive train.

A wheelie bar. Thats it. The Speedie sits up on the chassis where the driver is with the window on the sheel cut out...

Daughter is 4 now and I want to get the Brat going for her. It's the re-re. Still have the unpainted lexan body. Might go hot pink. Anyway......IIRC, when I stashed it away, there were some missing steering parts/linkages. Namely the servo...

Think you might be right Jeff...just had a closer look..
I think so, too...all 4 tires have four rows of spikes, but on that one right rear tire, the outside 2 rows have wider spikes than the other 3 tires. Weird...funny how you could end up with...
