standard chassis is listed as the a-4100. there are 4 listed in graphite a-9901,02,03,04 short, standard, long, extra long. id say 9902 is the original length

I was always curious about the XXL-Was it a conversion kit sold by Losi?
What class of racing was it designed for?
Cool looking car-I bet there aren't too many around.

the x-long chassis was for the CR truck, you needed the extra length to stabilize it. I ran with a long chassis for a while, went to the XL and couldnt believe the difference it made. truck felt so much better with the longer chassis.

My understanding is they did the same thing when releasing the XXXT-CR, longer truck chassis.

Correct....the XXXT-CR has a longer chassis....I believe as well as the current Losi RTR's like the Desert Truck and Speed-T.

I have a new-built XXCR Kinwald-it has "STD" stamped into the chassis at the rear near the battery box. Crossing that to the instruction manual showed A-9902 main chassis as the part number. Assuming the XXCR is the same?
