Has anybody experienced a tight gearbox in the Scorpion/Tomahawk re-release? I was putting mine together last night and with the cover screws backed off 1/4 turn the gears spin nice and free. When I add that last 1/4 turn to snug it up, the gearbox...

Yep i remember straightening a time or two with my original Tommy.
I was teaching my son how to drive and :D :D :D ended up being a mechanic....LOL

So i was going to buy another Tommy to have, but decided to just buy some of the optional pieces...

I am looking at buying this engine and trying to put the crank from my original assault , not sure if it would work so before I make the purchase I am hoping for input

Thanks, those are the driving wheels then when it goes back on the shelf, I will put the other tires on it. I will use a bump box to start it.

Dear all, I have taken possesion of the remains of what I believe to be a Kyosho Assault. It came with some mounting plates which I don't recognise from pictures of complete Assaults. Any ideas welcome, cheers.

Literally just won this pile on Ebay. Gonna do a box art mint restoration. The pic is from ebay, dont have it yet. I do already have a new body and decals comin, along with new wheels and tires. Tires are like the originals comin from kuwuit. Shocks...

I need front and rear wing arms, chassis brace plates, bearings, etc. Does anyone no if the parts will fit the vintage Assault, Advance or even turbo scorpion?

Some original parts is darn hard to find and expensive as body's and Beetle/Assault wheels. :(
