This car build's outcome was so cool i had to cast in my vote for it last night.
This is an outstanding build!

Yes, i have the site saved. I got the body for the RC300 from them.
Eventually I'll decide on the body style and order from the site

Re: RC10DS - From New York To Paris... Ron Paris
I believe the Ron Paris turbo pipes would be correct for that era but he also had the stiletto pipes for right and tenth scale cars and a smaller chambered pipe for tenth scale buggies that was used on the box art GT. The bigger pipe AL650 was mainly for eighth scale buggies... But it was a porker o...

Re: RC10DS - From New York To Paris... Ron Paris
Any update on this project? Unfortunately No Progress lowrydesign. Thank you for asking as well as reminding me of this project. The project is in a box under my work bench. During Covid i gave up my RC Hobby room and moved everything to a storage unit. We converted the RC room into a space for my ...

Re: RC10DS - Lamborghini Diablo - BODY SWAP TO GALLARDO
:D QUESTIONS FOR EVERYONE :D If you were purchasing (or bidding on  ) a finished project car, given a choice... would you prefer to purchase one with an UNPAINTED body or one with a PAINTED body? If a clear body were included with a finished project car, would you the body to UNMOUNTED or MOU...

Re: RC250 - No body type yet
The only thing ive managed to do so far is take it apart. I have some of the needed replacement parts but everything is currently in a box waiting to get worked on.
i still need to get a body for it.

Re: RC10DS - Lamborghini Diablo
UPDATE: 9/23/2023 BODY SWAP- I couldn't leave well enough alone. I decided to swap out the Lambo Diablo body in favor of the Lambo Gallardo Body. The HPI diablo body is really cool except i have issues with HPI bodies that have the wing mounts molded onto the body. I prefer the plastic mounts you s...

Re: What Modern Tires for a DS street bashing
Ive used the axle/c-hubs from the associated SC10 4x4. And as Juicedcoupe mentioned, you ream the hinge pin hole to 1/8" in order to accommodate the larger diameter DS hinge pin.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 6:21 am
You just ream the hole to 1/8". A couple of mine have them.

Re: What Modern Tires for a DS street bashing
Any advice on what depth hex adapters I would need? Can I use the b4.1 front hex axles or do I need the longer truck ones? Personally , i try to get a narrow hex for the front. I've never messed with b4 parts but the idea is to have narrow front hex nuts in order to keep the wheel closer to the cha...

Re: What Modern Tires for a DS street bashing
Hi Joseph, You want a tire for street bashing? then i would go with any of the VTA models from HPI or Protoform. Kyosho and Losi both offer VTA wheels if you want to toy around with different styles. Both the HPI and ProtoForm sets are great on pavement and wear nicely. I've never had technical issu...
