Is the Chevy grill/tailgate like the Edinger of RC10's or is it not worth worrying about?
The answer to the first part of your question is yes.
With regards to the second part of your question, ask yourself if you would make a runner out of a rare Edinger RC10.
Well, there is no need to worry about that as I pretty much just secured a nice original blank grill Clod. It appears to be in great shape from the photos and the owner said nothing is broken, so we will see when it gets here. Really looking forward to this one.
Do not use acetone on anything Tamiya. They are about 90% abs parts and will melt. I think maybe the only parts not abs are rod links for most models. The red or blue parts I think are also a nylon. Possibly a blend so don't chance it.
here is an old pic of my first clod, I bought it used or traded as we kids did back in the day, picture was taken at a saw mill where I grew up, my buddies dad owned it and let us play in the sawdust mounds exhausted out the back of the mill.

Thanks, yeah I've sold way too many of my clods. I only have one of the dozen I built over the years.... maybe I'll build another. Always been a fan of cantilever suspension, so if I see one I may have to grab it....
The body is a Camino 2000, the chassis had to be replaced due to breakage, as was the steering set up.
At first I ran LeMans 600E motors, but when I decided to race it, I went with LeMans 480 Gold
I wanted to use an 8.4 battery so I...

The MSCs are mounted on some scrap plastic I found in a storage area at work. They looked like separators for a storage setup of some kind, but no one knew what they were for. I think I still have a few somewhere. I'd love to find another clod to do...
What ever happened to the coolest r/c monster truck ever?
Check out this auction, I've been watching it since it was posted. A Clod with a TTR Centurion chassis, the original, not the special edition, probably the most collectible and hard to find...
I have had a Clod that I got in a lot and recently got the parts together to get it going.I have a few questions.I have heard of people saying they need to retime one motor but when I look at it I seem to think the motors are running the same way.I...

The rear motor is reverse rotation.
If the motors have adjustable timing rotate the endbell 180 deg for the rear motor.
If the motors are at zero deg you can just reverse the polarity.
I usually run 17T or 19T motors, just depends how fast you want...

You can find reproduction grilles and tailgates on eBay for $22 each. Unfortunately they're not chrome. However somebody did a nice job with their 3D printer. While I know they're not THE sought after pieces, I think they look better than that 4x4x4...
