If you find any Schumacher 9/16 hex wheels in that box, throw 'em in your luggage for your next trip to Indiana. I'll see ya at the airport.
While there won't be any in that box, there are some around the place.... sadly, my next (first) trip to Indiana might be somewhat delayed.....

Got the Turtle Labs workstation today. I didn't waste any time filling it up with tools and putting it to work.
Nice! I almost went for that one! It ended lower than I expected too!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
USPS brought me a set of 1/4" axle CVDs, a pair of 3/16" axle rear wheels (wait, these don't go together?!?), and a nice assortment of freshly cut Factory Works goodness.

I did get drive shaft cruciforms for my Top Cat. I hadn't bought any because I never imagined they would wear. I assumed metal, even cheap metal, would always win rubbing against plastic. I have a stockpile of the plastics driveshafts. On this old Top Cat, the cruciforms were very badly worn. That sent a shockwave through me. I have 2 4WD and 4 2WD buggies that use the same part, so that is 32 of the little buggers.

Not a lot, sadly. I am in back-order hell.

Yep, they wear amazingly.... I've had them almost completely worn through. Most long-time Schuey fans will have piles of good driveshafts and ends, but less of those do-dangs - at least, until the re-res started popping up. Strange, but I guess most will still have all the old, worn ones still in the pile, rather than throwing them out... or is that just me

I am at that point now: I should toss these old ones, but I won't They are in terrible shape, but they were working. Once Schumacher moves on to the "2000" series of vehicles to re-re, we may never see them again.
Another Pro-XRT in ok-ish condition arrived today. First Sports version I‘ve found. Bought it mainly for the box and manual as I‘m missing those for my other one
Man, the box art looks so cool
This cool M&Y motor arrived today. It has the slot car sized brushes but with full hoods. It has brush screw heat sinks. It also has little tabs that appear to be just for capicitors. What a neat little motor.

I've been digging, doing some research, tapping into the past. On my journey I've Found some very interesting early posts by a lot of currant members here in the archives. Very interesting stuff! I encourage newer members to do the same, as the old...

Nope. I'm not clicking on any links in this thread because I know one of them is going to be Farmer's pic. :P
None of them were about that picture.
But now one of them refers to it.
But seeing how often it is mentioned in this thread, it sure...
Thanks to Hoopty for the design, and Mrlexan for the production. They look great. And Thanks again Jay for the body and wing to put them on, can't wait to get 'em dirty. :D

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).
Got a bunch of stuff now, including the RC Channel rear metal kit, SRB alloy chassis and nose. Just need the RC4wd...

since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)
I built this today, its just a start, it was hard to get a picture of the whole track, unless I stood really far away... anyways more to come soon. its gonna be a lot of fun and was not too hard to do for just a few hours work! i made the rails out...

Big jumps and take some pictures of cars in action :D Looks amazing, I'd love a garden!
I thought I would start a thread having to do with cool/offbeat music. So your feeling a bit low, your dog has a bad case of fleas, it's raining outside, you can't run that awesome RC10 build because your missing 1 stupid part, nothing cool arrived...

I just picked up a few sort of new ones from work, Pink Floyd and AC/DC. The latest releases from both of them on CD.
