Inspect the shock pistons if you are building a recent re-re Schumacher. The pistons below came with my Cougars, but it most likely applies to the Pro CAT as well. Others on the FB group have had similar issues. I didn't have any bad pistons with my TC or XLS (both re-re). I am guessing Schumacher has changed suppliers. If yours are as bad as mine (well, 6 out of 8 of mine) you would notice anyway. A smaller defect might go unnoticed, but could affect performance, so I would check them.
Muzzoom sells better pistons, but has been out of stock for a while.
Pistons from some other brand of shock may fit, but I only have Schumacher cars, so can't recommend a sub.
