Rear Bumper or Skid Plate Options
I know jg made a rear bumper for a RC10 however they are not so easy to source. I have a graphite RC10 that I would like to add some rear guard or bumper to - I am looking for anyone's suggestions for options. I searched the forum, but there does not seem to be much out there on it. When I raced the...

Re: New Build - Graphite, Andys, MIP
Ok...thanks to Phin for pointing me in the right direction...took the advice with the toothpaste and drill....wow...it worked!
I ran it on the drill for about ten minutes a side or so, cleaned it and re-lubed....buttery smooth now....
Thanks guys.

Re: New Build - Graphite, Andys, MIP
I had a chance to build the gear diff, but not sure if it is feeling right. I never owned one of these growing up, so I have no frame of reference....I guess I assumed it should be buttery smooth, but it seems to catch from time to time despite me re-building it a couple of times...anyone have any e...

Re: New Build - Graphite, Andys, MIP
Picked up a MIP Gear Diff Set (thanks Phin!)...thinking about installing on this build. I would probably make this a brushless system so I guess the Torq control will have to stay in the bag since I assume it would not handle brushless 17t motor very well:) I assume you would just drill the case for...

Re: New Build - Graphite, Andys, MIP
Had a chance to do some more work on the build. I fixed the Al&L sterring issue I had with a thin nut as a spacer (thanks knucklebuster). I added the Andys front bumper, Lundsford retro titanium turnbuckles, Thorp heavy duty front axles, MIP CVDs and a freshly rebuilt MIP SP1 gear box (ball diff...

New Build - Graphite, Andys, MIP
So when I was growing up I was fortunate to have a RC10; however, I never had enough money to have any of the great hop ups out their at the time. We typically raced indoors on carpet in Michigan. All of the older guys were always gracious to give me a hand and try to keep my car running despite typ...

Re: RC10 Onroad/Dirtoval conversion
I also just picked up the exact A&L steering hardware however it did not come with the screws/posts....any advise on what is the correct post hardware for it? I was going to use my Hough posts which fit great for the bearings, but they are not high enough....the screws on the steering bar rub my...

Re: A stamp JG oval conversion
Your build looks great...can you give me your secret on polishing....how did you get the outdrives looking so good? Any advice would be great. Thanks! For polishing the outdrives I just gave them a preliminary sanding with 600 grit 3M auto body sand paper. Once I had all the rust and roughness clea...
