Shodog's HPI RS4 original
I’ve been working on this chassis sporadically for the last 4 years. This car is very near and dear to me. It was my first ever touring car I bought back in 1996 and I had to really hustle and save my pennies to afford it. It's had a lot of use and most parts are damaged in some sort of fashion. Ove...

Re: Shodog's HPI RS4 Pro2
Thanks for the compliments on this car. I came across some pics of my pro2 before I sold it to my neighbor. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/HPI%20RS4%20Pro2/76677862-284B-4D1A-BEB9-065874FD8760_zpsut9dzqqv.jpg http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/HPI%20RS4%20Pro2/5DE6BE6...

Re: Shodog's Ascot Sprinter
This build has made me realize just how much time we spend on these projects. I think the dampers took me a solid 3 hours to do. From striping to polishing and then rebuilding the bottom loaders with new O-Rings. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg131/shodog1/RC10%20Ascot%20Sprint%20Car/ECE927F2-B...

Love all the work you’ve done so far. Do you plan to make any to sell?

Re: Steering blocks
Dhawk makes some aluminum ones. However it will just transfer the break to the next weakest part. Gotta stay off those boards.

Re: Shodog's 2013 Classic RC10 build
I did a little bit of reconfiguring on this buggy. I bought the Dhawk parts for this build so long ago that he didn’t offer the arms yet. Since then I was able to get a set of the arms and a set of his aluminum damper collars and spring perches. Also added a set of Finely’s aluminum shock towers. St...

Re: Shodog's Ascot Sprinter
Got a fair bit of mock up work done. I’m basically rebuilding from scratch. I had to hunt through all my parts boxes to come up with what you see here. I still need to get a few small items which I have on order. Built the Rogue Element transmission with 48 pitch gears and Jammin Jay diff tube. The ...

Shodog’s Graphite Buggy
With all the quarantine talk I elected to R/C and chill this weekend on a few projects. One of them was this buggy I bought and initially built a few years ago. This buggy was worth all the ordeal it took to get. One day while surfing Craigslist I come across a clapped out RC10 with Tecnacraft wheel...

Re: Re-Re vs Vintage
The front arms are different and use a different ball cup. Those are usually worn on the vintage rides and are not interchangeable with the retention with having to change the arms also

Re: Shodog's Ascot Sprinter
Hard to say what the longevity of that composite motor plate would be. I imagine if it got real bad you could run a slightly longer screw with a small thin 4/40 nut like the ones used on the steering balls. But as incredible has said, it’s strong enough for the shelf

Re: Shodog's Ascot Sprinter
Getting all my parts organized for my Ascot sprint car overhaul. I’ve been saving up parts over the last few years. A vintage JG chassis. Dhawk aluminum parts to replace most of the plastic. I plan to take all the thorp 48 pitch gears, jammin jay diff tube and aluminum bearing carriers from another ...
