Re: RC10L Super Speedway

I don't believe any of the AE pan cars came with the hard coated shock bodies. All of the ones I had came with gold. Looking at my 10L SS and it has a top load hard anodized shock but I guess I must have added it at some point later on... The manual for the 10L SS clearly shows a bottom load gold s...

Re: AYK Pro Radiant done finally

Restore turned out great! A regular Radiant was my first 4wd as a kid and the Pro Radiant is still one of my favorite rides. Makes me wonder what the Dunn brothers are up to these days...

Re: RC10 B2 build

Very nice job on the build, can't wait to see the painted body! The B2 was one of those cars that I missed during my period of inactivity in the hobby so I don't know much about the platform. Your build has inspired me to start building a box art example myself. Looks like the chassis you went with ...

Re: Gomachv's Bling Bling Dhawk RC10

Looks sharp! I've considered grabbing some of the Dhawk bling too just for fun but haven't pulled the trigger, too many projects already queuing up. Quick question, where did you buy the Kinwald towers from, or did you make them?

Re: MIP SP-1 on a RC10 roller ...trade for a complete T4?

I am trying to replicate the car I raced when I was younger, and it is quite hard to find an SP-1 intact from best I can tell. Also, I had a set of MIP (?) telescoping driveshafts that went along with it. Anyone happen to know the part# on those? Also, +1 for the Re-re Worlds car, it is a steal at $...

Old new around these parts I know, but I was pretty psyched to find these books still available for purchase!

Re: Rc10 Andys/S&k Pro Race Build

What bodies other than the non existent pro-arrow body fits the pro race chassis? I ran a Pro Race kit back in the day except with Houge trailing arms and Kyosho gold shocks. Might have a picture still laying around but I think the body I ran at the time was made by Dahms and it fit pretty good if ...

Re: RC10 old school Edinger cleanup/resto

Ok here she is. Ain't mint by any stretch of the imagination, but most of the key bits are there and in decent shape. Some, as we will see, are just hangin' in there. Judging by the esc/motor/tires I would say the owner of this car previously owned a Tamiya of some sort, which is cool because that ...

Wow, what a super clean ride!

You have much better self control than I would have as a kid. I simply could not resist getting it dirty at least once, or twice

Love the chassis btw!

Congrats! You beat me, and presumably many others out of the auction  A true original Edinger continues to elude me! Good luck with the restore! Thank you! I did take me six years to get this one... I think the car does warrant its own thread. Keep us posted on how the restore goes!

Re: RC10 Vintage Motors

Reviving an old thread here... I picked up a version of a Team Associated '05' motor with an Edinger sticker that I've never seen before. Doing some research it looks to be an 'Igarashi' version of the standard stock motor but I am just curious where this fits in the timeline of things, if it is ear...

Thanks for the replies, for heated ultrasonic cleaners, you just talking something like these: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=ultrasonic+cleaner+heated ? I also have one car that is pretty yellowed so I might have a go at the HP/UV method. Sounds l...
