Re: Rpm World runner

Re: Rpm World runner
Thanks, that's the paint scheme I use on most of my "race" cars. I used 3/16 3/8 flanged bearing and 3/16 CVA because I want to run rerelease Worldcar rear wheels: they are not vintage, but they are cheap and easy to find even in France. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/11/28/...

Re: Rpm World runner
Nice cut job from the template. Well, at least you now have an extra set of shocks from the RC10T, haha! Thanks, and yes I'm always happy to have more kaki shocks and black caps. The front end is build with a GPM blue nose plate, it was an option for the RC10Gt. The black anodised part up front is ...

Rpm World runner
Hello, my usual runner was a OIN Rere World Car with Klein arms. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2015/02/17//15021708365917236512976720.jpg A few month ago, a friend of mine said that he found old RPM parts for me, and he gave me that: http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/11/08//1611081002161723651461...

Re: Second RC10DS Team DS?
Hello, I finally painted the team DS with some kind of CE theme. What do you think? http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/11/06//16110609170017236514613545.jpg http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/11/06//16110609172817236514613553.jpg http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/11/06//1611060917561723651461355...

Re: Ten4: the 4WD RC10 project
Thanks, I made a little carbon stiffener for the chassis to keep the belt in tension during hard braking. It's interlocking in a notch that I cut in the front nose tube, and at the rear its bolted between the chassis and the bulkhead. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/21//1609211107161723651450...

Re: Second RC10DS Team DS?
Thank you for the link, I have made some research too and I found some inspiring designs. Too bad AE never made the "All Sports" stickers. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/16//16091610274217236514496724.jpg http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/16//16091610165217236514496718....

Re: Second RC10DS Team DS?
Thanks, as I can't use a 75mhz radio here in France, I decided to hide a 2.4ghz inside the Futaba case. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/18//16091802545417236514499793.jpg The GM V3R ESC is still working, wich is good news. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/18//16091802550917236...

Re: My crappy Rc10-DS
First, I use a steel brush to remove the rust (or a sand blaster when necessary), but this make them partly shiny. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/14//16091409263117236514491656.jpg Then I heat the part with a blowtorch or a bunsen burner until it became black, the extremity of the part can b...

Re: Second RC10DS Team DS?
The rear is rebuild, the tiny universals are superb. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/16//16091610002617236514496705.jpg It's coming along nicely, still have to install electronic components. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/16//16091609594817236514496704.jpg http://nsm08.casimages.com/i...

Re: My crappy Rc10-DS
The crappy DS is back for some modifications. The polished bottom load shocks are leacking constantly from the cap, so i decided to install "team" hard coated shocks. And also, I decided to go back to brushed for a more "vintage" feeling. The motor is a Trinity Speed Gem Amber 17...

Tie rods are back from the rust. http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/14//16091409261517236514491654.jpg Front end cleaned and rebuild, rod ends and plastic nuts were worn and have been replaced, but overall the car is in very good shape. :D http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2016/09/14//1609140927271...

If you have an old chassis to cut, you can try this to brace your chassis:
