I also found that TL-01 shocks should work fine in the back for the 566. They are 50mm. That's 2-3mm too long for the font though. They would fit in the front with a new mounting hole on the chassis rail. I'd like to find a direct fit for the front but I doubt I'll be able to find shocks that match...

Can you describe how the 3 racing shocks are sealed? I would love to find a source for good shocks as long as they are not sealed like old optima or progress shocks. Good point. I bought similar shocks in the past (can't remember the brand though) and they leaked quite a bit.. Are those well sealed?

I have used the tubing trick too. I'm hoping for something with a ball joint though. I will look into those. Thanks I am also wondering what lenght are the RC18 shocks.
