Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
RC10 T4, Collected off an old race friend whose kids weren't interested. Didn't appreciate the sheer volume of spares he had with it, titanium tie rods, diff parts, 6 sets of suspension arms, boxes full of screws and bearings, slipper parts etc. Not sure where to start as there are easily enough bit...

Kariotahi beach on New Zealand's west coast, near Waiuku and Pukekohe, bit of evening surfcasting with a great sunset.
Slowly getting lighter in the afternoons as summer rolls in.

Re: MCI RC10 Parts
I think J Concepts list a 1.7" double dee tyre for the rc10 rim?, they are not as stock looking as original but price/quality is always good with them

Thank you Jeff,

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
OPTIMA MID RE RE, Finally arrived last week and couldn't resist screwing it together, Cliché, but this really was my first decent RC Car, had a first generation from way back then. Couldn't believe the precision and parts fit compared with the original, Kyosho fan anyway, but really nice to assemble...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
JRX Pro bits off a racer here in New Zealand. My JRX-Pro had the longer front shocks, but they were rears off the later JRX-PROSE, which were anodized black, rather than the original silver the first models came out with. Local collector was kind enough to sell me a pair, along with a Spur gear, (mi...

Re: Losi jrx2 Rigid Ball Bearing Steering
Can anyone explain why Losi have one bell crank slightly longer than the other?, initially i thought it was some weird Ackerman adjustment or compensation. Now I'm thinking when they changed from the skinny "servo saver" arm to a parallel one they didn't want to retool for the alloy connec...

Shapeways to the Rescue
Various bits for my projects, Really didn't like the battery set up for LiPo cells on the Optima, and Rocky, so bought these clamps to try, much more secure and well made. Also a slightly different bell crank for my belt drive rocky conversion, takes ball ends so will be more positive than the bent ...

JR's Choice motor.
Spotted this as part of a Ultima pro rebuild in an auction site here in New Zealand.
Managed to convince the guy to seperate it and sell it to me.
Going into my JRX-Pro build, not that many vintage 20 plus year old Losi parts around in this country, needs a rebuild and new decal.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Yep, every now and again you come across a true gentleman when trading, also scored an original Losi JR'S Choice motor on the same site last night looks good condition for my JRX-Pro rebuild, not as cheap $80NZD but period correct. Turns out you can still buy the rebuild kits for those original losi...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Grabbed this HB Cyclone D4 off a local auction site in New Zealand, grabbed it for the transponders and brushless set up but the very generous seller also "threw in" a tamiya touring car with another transponder. only paid $120USD for both, got a mate whos two sons will soon be racing them...
