Re: My RC10 World's Re-Re Pre-Build Q's
Alright guys. First, thanks for your little tid bits. I re-soldered the 1 bullet tonight. There were some solder left over on the bullet but I felt it was not enough so I added a bit more. Then I made sure I tinned all the way around the wire (which still had solder leftover). One thing that I also...

Re: Looking for advice for an old newbie
That's a list of real nice parts there. You're not taking a dive by buying the 3PV radio either. That's what I run myself. Oh, thanks for the input. Did you go for the one with the 304SB telemetry receiver? How the hell does that work, anyway? I didn't get the 3PV with Telemetry. I got the lesser o...

Made me think of this. Like driving down the road looking through a mail slot.

Edit : I think I answered my own question. I'm guessing they are Hot Trick collars. I'll save them for trade fodder.

Re: Yes, I'm actually going to fix this junker up
The plan for this car is to make it a solid runner, but leave it scrappy. I have another build going on that I'm getting fully mental on the details. That's not the point of this one. The game plan is very simple. Clean it up, Stealth trans, hex 2.2 wheels, B4.1 FT shocks. No new ground will be brok...

I bought perhaps the crappiest roller chassis on eBay all year. For some reason I was feeling froggy and offered the seller half his asking price and he accepted. About that time I was asking myself what I was thinking. https://photos.smugmug.com/RC10-Cadillac-Rebuild/i-SsJjR37/0/XL/rc10%202-XL.jpg ...

Re: Ebay RC10T2 resto
You're welcome. I'm a nerd at looking stuff up. That's a clean truck. If I had seen it, you'd have been bidding against me.

I hate to hear that because I sure didn't want to have to dye them black.

Green parts
I got these from a chop shop on eBay for a couple of dollars. He was parting out re-re Worlds Cars. Is there anything I can do to make them white ? I'm familiar with peroxide bath to freshen up old parts. Will that help brand new green stuff though ? https://photos.smugmug.com/RC10-Cadillac-Rebuild/...

Re: Losi.com forum is dead
It makes me sad, but it seems forums in general are fading away. I used to moderate on another forum that had several hundred thousand members. It was exceedingly busy, and we got a lot of folks the help they needed. My own build threads would go dozens of pages and get hundreds of thousands of view...

#6801- Front wheel conversion kit
Please pardon the rookie question. If I use this kit, part number 6801.... https://photos.smugmug.com/RC10-Cadillac-Rebuild/i-VvW3mnL/0/XL/Associated%206801-XL.jpg Can I then use part number 6225 to replace the black steering knuckles ? https://photos.smugmug.com/RC10-Cadillac-Rebuild/i-znHXT8j/0/O/...
