Re: RC10T2 Basher
I heard about crc evaporust from the Adam savage you tube channel. I was cleaning up a hand tool that was left to be rusty. I don’t think my father in law realize how much I love him to not bother him about that. This stuff is supposed to convert rust back to metal and be reused. So I tossed some of...

Re: RC10T2 Basher
This truck endured like a war horse in its last configuration. Without a murmur of complaint, without a touch of maintenance, it ran on and on, steadfast and true. I was fiddling with some fine TLR aluminum drive shafts when I gave the truck a hard, honest look. It needs love, and it's going to get ...

Re: How good are new bearings
I'm just curious how things overall compare. For me oiled bushings are just fine. I can always just put in a bigger battery and hotter motor.
Are any bearings made in the USA/Europe anymore?

Re: FanRC Complete Graphite Worlds Kit (Slider)
Now I know where my RC10T money is actually going! From Mr. Fan: "Many customers have asked, since we have almost all aftermarket parts made, when we would be able to provide complete kit with all FanRc parts. Here is the answer! FanRC graphite worlds kit is now available! Key features, - Qual...

How good are new bearings
Before I hijack another thread I was curious about Ball bearings. They used to be a very expensive upgrade and now they are a commodity. It's actually cheaper to get avid bearings vs associated bushings. I know that there are steel bearings, carbide bearings and partial ceramic bearings. As well the...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
I was looking for a Vintage Rc10t before this was announced and I am still looking but is it even worth it now? Yes, originals will always be "better" than their re-re counterparts. But with the hype of the ReRe the original ones have over inflated prices. Maybe now is not a good time to ...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
I was looking for a Vintage Rc10t before this was announced and I am still looking but is it even worth it now? You can get a whole lot of used truck for $400. It depends on how perfect you want. The extra ground clearance saves the chassis from a lot of scratches. You can get a full car and an and...

Re: RC10 - A Stamp Rebuild - Chipped Idler Gear
... We are running chinese $1 a pop bearings these days vs the $80 high end NMB bearings sets back in the day. That's true and the difference is night and day. I have some of those early metal shielded bearings and they're still smooth and spin forever. By contrast, I've had to replace many of the ...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Do you know anyone with a tap and die set? Adding a 1/4-20 UNC thread wouldn't be too difficult. Very annoying though, yes. Someone else here had that happen with a Tamiya or Kyosho kit not long ago. I'm surprised this happens, but apparently it does. If AE doesn't get back to you quickly, I'm sure...
