Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Do you know anyone with a tap and die set? Adding a 1/4-20 UNC thread wouldn't be too difficult. Very annoying though, yes. Someone else here had that happen with a Tamiya or Kyosho kit not long ago. I'm surprised this happens, but apparently it does. If AE doesn't get back to you quickly, I'm sure...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
I didn’t see it mentioned elsewhere in the thread but just looked closer at the product images and the only picture (one of the top down views) that shows the laser logo has “RC10” with no “T”. The etched logo is conspicuously missing from all the other images except the main callout bubble… maybe ...

Re: Plan B RC10T3 Race Truck
Many thanks to Alex for putting me onto these cheap tires. I got tired of waiting for Carvers to become available again. I don't know how well these will perform compared to big name tires but they feel surprisingly good and look good. 20240523_220524.jpg Althought not my first choice I've ordered ...

Re: Looking for a 9601 top shaft
I haven't seen them out of steel. The Avid shaft is a good quality one. There has not been a reason for me to break open any of my built transmissions. I haven't heard of issues like I had with the Dhawk ones either. The factory AE was all steel. FWIW there's one on eBay. If it's the one I'm seeing...

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
I've held out this far, but the 10T classic will be the one that does it for me as well. I'm in for this one. This might be the one I buy boxes for my kids to build. The CC was a fun build. The 40th is a box of mint condition spare parts for my current 6 gears. I could actually see my kids being ab...

Re: Looking for a 9601 top shaft
Fan RC is reproducing them but they appear to be out of stock everywhere. I know Avid makes a version but it's aluminum and I'd prefer a steel shaft and gear. Anyone else making these?
