Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build

Did you make the machine battery box? That is a nice piece. I am talking about the one holding the 2s Lipo, not the bulkhead above... I understand about hiding the motor standoffs. The neoprene gaskets can be trimmed to show the spacers and still hold themselves in place, as you probably remember f...

Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build

This is an awesome build. I am considering one now that I see it. Take a look at the neoprene stealth transmission gaskets, now available on eBay in gray, blue, purple. They are the best. Car looks fantastic. I've seen those gaskets and could see them as being very effective. In my case, I don't wa...

Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build

Oh yeah, that looks great. So you left a section of body running between the wing mounts to catch the body post? Clever use of a yoga block BTW. Yes, I figured that was the best way to secure the rear of the body. You can remove the body easily without removing the wing. Yoga block works but it cou...

A bit of advice... Start you a new topic with your question about RC10 tires. It'll start off getting your post count going. I have a feeling I'll be ridiculed to no end for mentioning the word "tire" haha. The ironic thing is that this website literally does not allow you to searc...

Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build

Cool Nomad. I was wondering when you were going to get back to this build. Bet you had to blow some dust off. What body will you use in combination with those wing mounts? Looking good!! 8) I've got a body I've been cutting on for a couple of days, give me a few more and I'll show you.

Re: Shining Star SSC 10 Build

Wow, didn't it had been so long since I worked on this build. I got a little bit of purple stuff installed, screws, wing buttons, battery hold down with some purple stand offs and a Trinity Monster Max 13.5 motor all dressed out in option parts! mostormaxoption.jpg SSC10holdbatt.jpg SSC10Purple.jpg
