Re: Keeping up with the boy and then some.
I didn’t take any pictures as I was doing it because I had no idea how it would turn out. Completely shot from the hip here. So simply put I had very little idea of what I was doing. First I put in the window mask stickers. Then I laid down the pin stripes by hand using a thin tape. Eye balled it an...

Re: Keeping up with the boy and then some.
Got the boys car painted. Love it and a little timid to throw it out on the track. Lol. Guess I’d better see if I can reproduce my own work.

Re: Keeping up with the boy and then some.
I think I'm straight now. Was on the phone with Associated and they put me in the right direction. Also checked with them on my theory. The more people that fill the email box on there site for parts that are out of stock dictates quantities and timeframe of restocking. So I encourage everyone looki...

Re: Keeping up with the boy and then some.
I've been running my rere CVA's and have not popped one yet, they are close. Build them and see how they fit. Alternatively you can move the blue spacer to inside the hub which moves them into outdrive further. Or you can use Associated #9911 which are B44.2 CVA bones with the kit axles. These are ...

Re: Modded Gold pan CE build
I gotta say black caps. Before I even read the caption I noticed the caps looked out of place. Or the shock body. One or the other needs a different look. But man. That is sexy. I need to do some serious cleaning on mine.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Yep. I was definitely guilty here of not having a clue about what I had or its value. I wasn’t interested in it so that makes for a good deal for another. Im glad someone will use or rebuild it. Gonna list the ultima next. I assume it won’t bring nearly as much. Not sure if I should strip the electr...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Sorry partner, talking about the aluminum body car above. Your car with the orange rollcage is a javelin with turbo optima wheels on the back and proline wheels on the front. The other one is an Ultima with an aftermarket chassis and the wing off of your javelin. It has the other two turbo optima w...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Ok, So I already listed the 4WD car and it brought over $150. I was shocked. But I have no idea of its value. The 2wd car is going next. Just not sure how to list it. You said if listed correctly. Was it worth more. Has 8 mins left if your interested

Re: B6 club racer
Just drove “my sons” B6 Club Racer today for the first time. It was awesome!!!! I thought it handled really well. After tightening the diff way past the directives in the setup booklet it really started to show some promise. I will begin to look into gearing and try and figure out how to get more st...
