Use zippo lighter stands for the motors, pretty sure I paid around $25 AUD for 45 of them.
Yeah, that's exactly what mine are, I got 30 for £13.

Your car is a B2 Sport. If you haven't seen it, there's a 25 year history of the RC10 thread here: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13059

Re: Motors Storage

Here's a little display I've mocked up to go in my glass cabinets (once the room is decorated  )

Fairly cheap perspex display shelving & perspex stands.

Re: Demon Red Base Plate motors (1986)

Yeah, these are nicest looking Demons by far, saying that, the silver can Demons always looked great in the back of a car, it's the whole sticker design & Demon name that always appealed to a youngster  Also, those Demons were the first black can motors I had, everything I had before was si...

Awesome that you have everything intact, and yes, that's very young to have such a car. 8)

Welcome to the forum, nice first post.

Re: Demon Red Base Plate motors (1986)

I've managed to grab a couple myself. I've got a 27T, a 24T & a Modified 19T Quad. The Modified is new, never run or soldered. I had a std 27T & a Mister T BITD when I had the CAT https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51208098484_3e96918862_k.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51207537653...

Re: Laser Thermal Charger 1986 / MkII 1989

On the PC1 the red light comes on when you connect the pack and press the button then the green light comes on when it peaks. I assume the PC3 is the same but haven't tried it.

So looking at your ads, it looks like mine is the Vari-pulse mkII. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51176620284_42761829bd_k.jpg This is my Schumacher PC1 as mentioned in that article (which I had)... https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49644982077_522f36853e_k.jpg And this is a Schumacher PC3, n...

Re: Laser Mini Pro esc 1989

Looking at your esc's, I would guess the top one is the earliest because that has the same trim pots as my esc, all of your others have the Nosram type pots. I'm not sure what my charger is as it was cheap and bought for the sake of it. I'll get a pic up tomorrow as maybe you will know what type it ...

Re: Laser Mini Pro esc 1989

Yeah, Frances has a bit of info on Laser esc's. I've got an early (pre fet) relay Laser and a Ni-Cd charger. I was planning on getting the esc working properly & fitting it in my Zerda.

The ones you have are really nice.

Re: Futaba MC109

Nice esc & not easy to come by. Released 1987, 150A/450A & rated at an 18T limit. 3 wire fwd & Brake. I did have a copy of an MC110 manual, which is similar, on my laptop but lost it due to a knackered hard drive although they're straightforward to set up. If you decide to get shot of it...

Nice, does look like a protech. Particularly like the rolled edge around the shock tower & gear cover.
