I love the ceramic diff balls vs. the carbide ones.
I run 3500kv brushless system in my stealth with the b4 topshaft/v2 slipper mod.
Smooth as butter and one of the most quiet rigs at the track which always gets people asking "What have you DONE to that old gold pan!!!???" hahaha.

Re: RC10 Graphite - Buried in a garage since the mid-90's...
Nice find and good cleanup! That Velineon is a monster in that thing. Hahaha. I picked up one of those Leopard 10t 3930kv ESC/Motor combos for $60 and use the Flysky gt2 in mine. The power to weight ratio is pretty insane with the 3930, I could only imagine with the torque of that velenion how much ...

Re: RC10 B1.5
That thing is super sweet! I can only imagine how it will turn, because my daughters T2 just freakin eats UP the track it turns so nicely. It'll turn right under an SC10 and still carry more speed. Wondering if you do a "runner"....maybe come off the tower with the B4 wing mounts and trim ...

Re: #6580 Diff Gear bad tolerances in Mfg recently??
Well, after tearing it down and rebuilding it a couple of different times tonight just to make sure I had dotted my i's and crossed my T's... That center hole may be off just a hair....I mean a hair....but it is enough to make it non-useable. Luckily I had ordered two when I did...and the second one...

#6580 Diff Gear bad tolerances in Mfg recently??
2.25 Diff Gear (AE #6580) I wonder if there has been a new moulding run or something??? Picked up a couple new 6580's from tower the other day. Built up new gear, new ceramics, new rings, the works....right? (I really DIG those ceramics! Buttery smooth, nice tension) So I get done with my bearings a...

Gold Pan suspension tuning. Where to start??
Ok, I've never tuned my goldpan to a track, don't even have springs for it yet and I've owned it since it came out in 94.... Decided to race it with the club guys and now I have GOT to start dialing the thing in. So Ruffy Rios or Jeff Harris gets the box back in the day, builds it to factory specs, ...

Re: I keep blowing my diff gear
I had an epic meltdown on mine this weekend at the track right in the middle of a heat. Let's just say that I had to wrangle a 94stealthCE DRIFT car on an offroad track, haha! My biggest issue was that my dumba$$ mechanic (me) hadn't done a diff rebuild (or even really checked the diff) in about 2 m...

I emailed Barry about it. Not sure if he conferred with Dustin or not.

B2/B3 tranny case a direct fit on a 94 B-stamp CE?
Question and looking for insight from the experts. Are the b2 and or b3 stealth tranny cases a direct drop-in installation on a B-stamp Stealth buggy (94ce)? I ask because it takes a rectangular cut to get a b4 in there and I'm not sure I can drink enough to go carving on my baby with diamond tipped...

Re: Stealth Question
Here's another question on the Stealth Trannys but more for mounting the actual cases.... Mounting holes..... Is the B2/B3 tranny case a direct mount onto a B-stamp Stealth CE chassis like the original 2.25 Stealth or is the bolt pattern slightly different?? I ask because the GFRP cases mount direct...

Re: B4 Topshaft Installation into 2.25 Stealth
Awwwww man. Talk about totally over thinking a simple problem. Long day at the office, figured I'd come home, install my new goodies....completely freaked out before I thought about it logically. Thanks Richie....I think you honestly saved me a night or two in the looney bin! I'll get back to my pro...

B4 Topshaft Installation into 2.25 Stealth
Do I need to drill out the tranny case at the topshaft a little bit so that the spacer makes contact with the topshaft bearing?
I'm getting some SERIOUS binding due to the topshaft spacer being pressed against the tranny case.
Maybe I've done something wrong during installation?

Re: My 94CE - Just a couple of pics...
Well, we have been rained out every time we've tried to race. I put that trx esc in it (thank goodness) because I'll balloon the receiver and run in the mud, haha. I have a set of 1.9 rock crawler tires on the original 3 piece wheels that I bash with on the street and track when it's bad conditions....
