Re: What was your first Radio Control Vehicle.
Mine was a Rockbuster. I believe it might be the MRC version of the Tamiya Grasshopper. I do know it is the same doggone chassis, etc as the Grasshopper. Anyhow...it did ok with a 540 motor, for a very short while. My next purchase was my RC10CE in 94. Still have my baby to this day. Just drove it i...

Re: Tamiya Blackfoot review RCCA 2/87
I just got a Blackfoot over the weekend from my future father-in-law... Here's the best part.... FOR FREE! I had my RC10CE and my Duratrax Raze over at their house for the holiday weekend and he and I got to talking about R/C and next thing you know we're cleaning out his shed and whammo! Tamiya Bla...

Re: Vintage cars to race
In all honesty a good driver can put a gold pan out there and hang with the newer buggies in a stock class on the right tracks.
It's all about the driver knowing his car and setups.

Re: Stealth slipper and diff lock?
It's on the correct side. I'm wondering if it came loose when the bearings came out. That might have created a little play that could have loosened it up.

Stealth slipper and diff lock?
Has anyone used locktite on the diff screw at the factory setting of compress spring and back out about 1/8-1/4 turn? Just wondering if that might help. My runner keeps spinning the screw out and I'm not really putting a whole lot of power to it. I bought new bearings and screw/washers as it was mis...

Re: -Whity white RPM Ultra molded chassis-
That chassis/car/restoration is absolutely fabulous.
Just the rolling chassis in the first couple pictures screams, "I am fast and chicks dig me! Let's go for a drive..."
Great resto!

New Academy 2wd Buggy!
Has anyone seen this bad-boy yet? Probably not. It hasn't hit the US yet...the kits are literally "on the water" and enroute to the USA. Pricing for this kit is probably gonna be in the $180-$205 range. I know there are a few Academy 4wd drivers in our midst...just wonder what everyone thi...

Re: Scorcher-10
Is that a complete chassis with nose and motor sections??
How much would you charge for just a standard RC10 titanium tub with nose and tail?
Also, do those have the holes in them or is that up to the builder?

Re: Fairly new to RCs, T4 Question.
Sounds like the body needs to be trimmed out for the shocks and towers. You can go to the AE website and they have all of the manuals online. Here is a link to the T4 manual, parts listing, drawings, etc. http://www.teamassociated.com/shusting/CatalogHub/cathub_offroad.htm For the Novak ESC...try hi...

Anyone Remember 1/8th Ofna Tempo Nitro 4x4???
Ok, I haven't had a lot of luck with either Google or Yahoo or anything for that matter as far as any info on an Ofna Tempo 1/8 Nitro 4wd Buggy. Does anyone out there have one or have any info on them? I just so happened to have stumbled upon one, partially assembled (some parts bags in kit not even...
