Re: Regional A final wanna-be

Hi there, I only ran it in practise as it wasn't 100% ready but it went very very well! One of the UK Losi sponsored drivers wanted to use it ina round because it looked better than his XXXCR! I went out very early when it was still dusty but was still going quicker than some 4wd's even with...

Re: Vintage Racing! From accross the pond!

Yeh, they are old pics about a year old. I'm still using the ProCat in this years vintage series though, with a few upgrades (ballraced steering, ali Z bracket, 19 turn motor, lipo once..). So far I have tq'ed and won the first two rounds of the series with it. I am now being pushed by my mate with ...

Yeah that's me sat down with the old skool Schumacher jumper on, and btw, that's actually fairly clean shaven for me!

Chris is holding the ProCat and was trying to start a rumour about a new X-Factory 4wd.......

Re: Regional A final wanna-be

Well my mate painted the shell for me, but still no pics. I'll try and do some this week as I'd like to race it on Sunday if I can get it finished

Cool, what was the wire you used for the 'wire ring'? Does it matter?

Re: Regional A final wanna-be

I got the Protech fitted eventually! I like the new cut lines at the bottom of the shell, but round the front, rear and rear shocks its just pure guess work! I think it came out ok. :) The Losi wing mounts come through the rear of the shell quite well, but I think I'm going to drill another set of h...

Re: Regional A final wanna-be

I'm going to take some pictures tonight, but still can't make my mind up on the shell!
The Protech seems to have more styling to it, but the Viper is more racey..... :?

Re: Regional A final wanna-be

Well I have the Losi wing mounts on the rear tower, and I'm going to go with a Viper body. I'm goint to try and make slots at the rear for the wing mounts to come through. It will mean taking the body pins out of the wing to fit the shell but I think it will be worth it to try and keep the rear of t...

Re: Regional A final wanna-be

Well I've just found another Protech and another Viper body, so I guess it's gonna be one of those two.

I might have to cut the rear of the body totally off as I'm going to use Losi wingmounts on the carbon rear tower. Has anyone done anything like that? Does it look ok?
