Big thanks to TRX-1-3 for pointing me to this #1988 gear cover.
And while searching for a R203GF receiver, stumbled across a "buy one, get one half off with a free 3PRKA transmitter" deal.

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
My workshop now has a skylight! Glad to see a good amount of the nasty go away. :D The worst rafters are yet to come, and I haven't looked at any of them beyond where the back wall is. Fingers crossed on that section. Now that I have gotten deep into it, I am 100% confident that without the header ...

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)
Added a bunch more Trinity motors. Very nice. While I was just now scrolling through, I stopped at the Kyosho motors and happened to notice one of the Kyosho Mega motors missing from the list, the 14x2 Dirt Oval. See specs in the snip below. Kyosho Mega Motor 14x2 Dirt Oval.JPG I took this snip fro...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - May 2024 ** - Winner - morrisey0
For the first time I was very close to and wanted to vote for a nitro vehicle, but I had to go with the model that has a soft spot in my heart. Neither are close to morrisey0's Viper EX-10 sweetness at the moment.

Re: Are we ready to add an RC10T ReRe section?
It just now hit me that there's a complete original 10T project boxed somewhere beneath the workbench. All of a sudden the enthusiasm for this re-re 10T just plummeted. A little saddened and pleased at the same time.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
There is/was? a NIP clear gear cover on the bay recently. What I thought to be reasonably priced. Might still be up for grabs. But, I bet you scour near daily for gems. I just remember you preferring the lexan covers. Almost PM'd you the link about 4 days ago when I saw it. Almost. Thanks pal...

Re: Looking for a 9601 top shaft
I could wait for FanRC to restock or I could buy the Avid shaft now and swap it for an OEM part from one of my shelfers . This, swap out a factory steel one from a shelfer with an Avid aluminum one. I've resorted to this on a shelfer. I've bought a couple Avid aluminum shafts and they seem to be qu...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Behold.... and now the Blue Eagle LS-II. Already having a Blue Eagle LS and SRT, I was done with a Traxxas collection, but this was just far too good of a deal to pass up. It's simply fantastic, and at a price just over what heaping piles go for, which makes me like even more. Had that in my cart a...
