Re: Teambluegroove's repro bodies - quality?

All interesting info - both on the quality of his work, and on the general technology behind this. I actually ordered a couple of things from him (namely a full astute body set and some rc10 gear covers) a few days ago, ie before I posted that thread, I haven't received them yet so I can't comment o...

Teambluegroove's repro bodies - quality?

Hello all,

has anyone had a Teambluegroove body in hand? Any feedback on the quality? They are more affordable than other ones, I was wondering if they're still worth covering a painfully restored 10T?

thanks!

Re: CAT XLS- vintage racer

This car was so advanced for its era, and structurally it is still pretty close to the modern racers. I really, really wonder how it will fare vs. more modern cars with proper electronics and tires - and a slipper! Might need modern shocks too... Keep us updated ;) I'd love to see a vid of this baby...

Re: TRX????

Beware of the AT10-EB - it isn't a bad deal, as you rightly spotted it's a B3 with a lower price tag but it is poorly built. I ordered one for a friend and checked it for him as it was going to be his first hobby-grade RC car and I didn't want him not to be hooked. Among other things, rebuild the re...

Which tranny is that?

Hi guys I recently picked up a(nother) Rc10 Graphite, with a funny transmission on... I suspect it's an A&L but I'd like your input on that one. To note, I have one that looks extremely similar on a Tamiya Astute which i also received only a couple of weeks ago and that I haven't had a chance to...

Re: To Drill or Not To Drill?

If you plan on running it with newer motors/esc's, drill it, run the stealth and dont look back. Shelf queen: wet sand the chassis and leave the 6 gear in it. My gut says you plan on running it..... interesting - wet sanding the chassis? Won't it look dull after that? wetsanding flattens but...

Re: 6010/6016 - to buy or not to buy?

Thanks for the input

I had doubts - and as I JUST picked up a NiB FT TC3 this morning and am now strapped for $$$, I'll let this one go... unless price drops big time to $120-ish I think.

Much appreciated :)

6010/6016 - to buy or not to buy?

Hi all need your advice here  I am offered this buggy for the equivalent of $170 (keep in mind that here in europe RC10's are quite a bit more scarce than in the US) - sounds like it's fully complete.... price seems a bit on the high side to me for a 6010/6016, but then again given the seeming...

Re: Traxxas TRX-3 Opinion?

TRX-3 - a few weeks ago i bought myself a NiB one on ePay (from a member of this board if I ain't mistaken). In hindsight i paid too much for it but I my finger slipped on the button that week because I had gotten a raise then ;) I guess the question is, why was traxxas able to do such a good showin...
