Re: RC10T body ?
That is the Dahm's Slammer Body. I used this body back in the mid nineties. I still get compliments on it today as it is much different than the bodies of today. I believe they also made a Slammer XL with an "extended cab" window, etc.

Re: restoring a RPM Ultra Molded 10T
Yeah, splitting hairs is right.... 50/50 of 30wt and 40wt comes in at 34.6wt on the posted calculator. Close enough for my workbench when 35wt isn't available

Re: RC10GT brushless conversion
Looks good. I always wanted to convert the GT to a mid motor electric. It just makes sense since the tranny is already laid over. I may still do it someday, but I'm having too much fun with my Tekin conversion and can't wait to order up an X-60 to convert my T4.

Re: 10t2 vs t4
What kind of ball cups are you running? I like to run the RPM cups, but on the 10T/T2 I have to run the original associated style (much less material than RPM) on the out board steering tie rod location - due to the rubbing you are describing. I have actually had the RPM ball cups pop off of the bal...

Re: Old meets Modern ?
I've just done the B4/T4 top shaft and slipper mod, but I wanted to quiz everyone to see if I left anything out. All I did was install the new shaft, then the slipper hub - clutch disc - spur - clutch disc - slipper hub - spring - nut. The way mine sits, the inboard slipper hub just bottoms out at t...

Re: What do you think of the new forum?
Now that the general forum is locked up, where is the best place to post questions that pertain to both RC10's and 10T's? For example, a general question about a chassis, transmission, shocks, etc. - Kind of seems silly to post identical topics in both buggy and truck forums or expect people to look...

Re: New puretech battery straps compared to originals.
I received my order for an "original style" strap (old bolt on style mounts with new logo velcro) and one of the PSA double strap units at the end of last week. Good stuff. I haven't installed the bolt on style yet, but foresee trimming of the velcro for a perfect fit. Dwayne at PureTech i...

Stealth Tranny Gasket Question
I realize the original can sometimes be reused, but what does everybody use in place of the felt gasket in between the stealth and the motor plate? I snatched up one or two new felt ones before they disappeared, and I still use an ETA brand red neoprene gasket that I used BITD, but have no idea what...

Re: What do you think of the new forum?
Change is good... I've got some in my pocket right now. I am fairly neutral about it - I like the more specific separation of the topics, but it seems like there is more stuff to look through to keep on top of things. I'm still looking at the same areas I was before, but now I look at others as well...

I'm in the process of adapting my JConcepts T4 Illuzion body to my RC10T w/ Tekin mid motor conversion. I'll post some pics when I get it done.
