Re: HPI Nitro mini RS4

The nitro minis are a lot more compact. The upper deck is a dead giveaway. The pics are from the HPI racing website archives.

Re: HPI Nitro mini RS4

That is actually one of the original nitro rs4 cars from about 1996 or so. Unfortunately, it's not a nitro mini. As far as I can tell, it looks pretty complete....maybe just a fuel tank, pullstarter, and steering servo to getting in running condition. Could be a nice classic after a little TLC as yo...

Re: Who else here has a worlds 93 tub car?

Here's mine. Tried to sell it on ebay a couple weeks ago. What was I thinking...Surely, I would have suffered from a bad case of seller's remorse

Re: Original 6160 Protech Bodies - Roman Numerals

I checked out my edinger and cadillac kits. My edinger definitely has the IV on it. The cadillac body looks like it has a III on it. I don't think pictures would clarify it anymore because it is so subtle. The American-made non-kit 6160 that I have doesn't seem to have any markings on it. Can't real...

Re: A good day at the fair HPI RS4-2

Yeah, '99 was when the rs4 2 came out. There's not much info out there anymore. The whole rs4 series cars are super reliable and I think we're at the point in its life cycle where a lot of people are willing to let them go for cheap on ebay. A lot of the links on the HPI website lead to dead ends. Y...

Great find! Parts are still plentiful and cheap on ebay. Here's my rs4 that I've been trying to finish since 2001

Re: Craigslist Froggy...

I'm glad you guys brought up this subject. highwayracer, you're right about the Panda Cyclone. I think the Mugen Manx had the same style as the standard tamiya grasshopper/hornet/frog but in gold. I bought both recently for the blue aluminum parts (shocks, nerf bars, and stabilizers). I also have a s...

Re: super champ score

I know this probably isn't the forum for this, but really quickly, what are the major differences between the SS,SC, and RR besides the obvious: bodies, radio tray, body mounts, tires?

Re: super champ score

looks very complete to me
Thanks that's very comforting. I'm not sure what else is missing as that was the only pic available. He did say that the oil reservoir was cracked though. Are they very hard to find? I'm assuming a premium price for any SRB parts.

I 've been looking to get into a SRB lately....any SRB. I don't know much about them, but I always thought they were cool. I think $225 was a pretty good price. Do you guys see anything that might need fixing? I'll post more pics when I get it.

Man, that thing is so close to being done. Looks just awesome! I'm back to square one because I just sold that body I painted up.
