Re: RC10B6/D
Picked up the B6D this past weekend. b6d.png I had bought the B6 laydown to see if I could mount it in my B5M easily, but the holes for the transmission don't line up without re-drilling the chassis. They holes are so close I decided it wasn't worth risking ruining the B5M, which I just bought a cou...

Re: Team Novak is closing it's doors.
Noticed prices for motors and ESC are about 10-30$ off. Just picked up a Vulcan 6.5 for $70.00 which I plan on using in a future 4wd buggy build(model undecided).

Re: RC10B6/D
If you plan on running on clay the B6D would be the way to go. To convert to a B6 you would need to swap out the transmission case, idler gear, gear diff(if desired), front arms and shock tower.
I plan on trying to fit a B6 laydown transmission in my B5M FL along with the front carriers.

Re: What is the worst injury from spotting?
When I crash I know the spotter had nothing to do with it. People need to take a deep breath and relax. During my main on Sunday my battery connector gave out(2nd time) when I was in 2nd and gaining on the leader. Sure I was disappointed, but that is racing.. I just waited on the stand(quietly) for ...

What is the worst injury from spotting?
This past weekend I suffered a mild ankle sprain after spotting.
So what is the worst injury you've gotten while spotting(corner marshaling)?

Re: Novak ESC bad for modern racing?
Raced two classes yesterday to get more track time, mod and 17.5 buggy. Gearing was 69/31 with Proline Primes and the track had plenty of traction. Followed one of the fast locals through the section leading up to the triple giving me trouble and found that he was going slower around the corner befo...

Re: Mutli car set up
now for the couple models I am currently running, I have a tower 2.4Ghz radio (good for smalls hands, for my boys) and the receivers are cheap, so I have three, that have internal antennas. Used the Tower 2.4Ghz radio for about 5 years without any issues. Nice radio for the money. With each car I b...

Re: Novak ESC bad for modern racing?
Charging at 3AMPs(charger only does 10A anyway) afraid I might blow something up if I go higher. Two of my batteries are a couple years old, but I have a brand new 100C 2800mAh. Although the new battery might have a bad connection inside. My last run with it it kept shutting down and it was minutes ...

Novak ESC bad for modern racing?
At the track yesterday for some testing/tuning and was having trouble clearing the triple. Had a couple times when I thought my frontend would be dangling, but this car can take a hit!! B5M Vulcan 17.5 Novak GTB3 31/69 Went out front to speak with some racers/workers to see what I could do to help. ...

Re: Thinking of getting out of RC...mostly
I've been into R/C since I was 9 years old and have only sold 1 car(Grasshopper). There was a time when I didn't touch any of my cars(1992-2002), but I still had them packed away in the basement. I was preoccupied with Guitars, BMX and Motorcycles. Around 2002-2005 ish I started rebuilding my Wild W...
