Re: Looking for photo of RC10 with sides of chassis cut down.
A template is not a bad idea. I think I'm going to do this tomorrow so I dont have the time for snail mail. LOL Thanks anyway. I'm sure I can lay down a straight edge with tape or something. I was just looking for photos as to how far down other people have cut theirs.

Looking for photo of RC10 with sides of chassis cut down.
I'm rebuilding my RC10. The chassis that I have has had a chunk cut out of it from it's previous owner. In an attempt to smooth out the side I have heard that some people cut the sides of the chassis down. Does anyone here have a photo of one like that?

Wow $15.00 for a servo saver kit. I can see now that this rebuild is gonna get expensive real quick. Is there any that are not ball bearing?

I need a replacement servo saver
Well I screwed up and broke the servo saver in my RC10 gold pan buggy. Are these still avaible? My manual says it's part number #6255. If not...then what will work?

Are old tires worth keeping?
The rear tires on this RC10 are all but bald. Are they worth hanging onto? I know the rims will be reusable but what about the tires? Does anyone keep them just cause the are original?

Rebuild or "part out"?
I got this RC10 from a friend. It was in very dirty condition when I got it although it all seemed to be there. I thought that I would rebuild it and make a runner out of it. I tore the 6 gear transmission apart and found that it needed to be completely rebuilt so I did adding all new bearings in pl...

Help fixing receiver wire
Ok...so I have this old Associated RC10 buggy that I'm tryng to get up and running. It has an old Airtronics radio that surprisingly still works great. The receiver antennae is in the upright tube but over the years it some how got bent real bad and about 6 inches of it just broke off. The rest of t...

Ok...my mistake. The article says 15 seconds not 30, but even that seems like a stretch.

How freely does your tranny spin?
Ok...I've started working on my RC10 buggy. The first thing I did was rebuilt the 6 gear tranny. I replaced all the bushings with bearings, added new idler gears and cleaned out any and all dirt and debris. I finished it last night and I have to admit I was quite proud of myself as to how smooth it ...
