How do I know which version car I have? How do I tell between the RC10 Team car and the Champion Edition?

Re: How many bearings?
Can you tell me what size are the bearings that go in the idler gears on this tranny? It had flanged bushings in it so I'm assumming it will take flanged bearings.

How many bearings?
I have a gold pan RC10 with the 6 gear tranny. The chassis is stamped "A". The parts manual I have says that the car uses three different size bearings in it. 1/4 x 3/8: four flanged for the rear wheels, and one for the transmission. 3/16 x 5/16: four flanged for the front wheels, and one ...

Re: Paint to match gold tub??????
Well...I guess I should have been more specific. Yes I know that the tubs were anodized. I just thought that surely someone from here has tried to paint a tub to match the gold anodizing. I thought about mixing different colors but that would only work if I had a sprayer to do the job (which I don't...

6 gear tranny...good ....bad....or ugly
I have three RC10 buggy's now, two of them have the stealth transmission but this latest one has the 6 gear tranny. How do the two compare? I figure the stealth to be the better of the two but how so? I've ordered bearings and new idlers for this one. Will it be a solid transmission when rebuilt wit...

Re: New member here. Introducing myself
I think that I could have finished better if I could drive better. I have raced both my RC10T and my T4. There really isnt that much difference between the two once you get them set up. In fact I only bought the T4 because everyone told me that it was so much better. I was expecting to set it on the...

New member here. Introducing myself
Hi guys/gals I'm kind of new here. I've only been into RC for about two years now. A friend of mine got his grandson a Associated T3 and he was racing it. It sounded like fun so I started looking on e-bay for myself a car/truck. I had no idea there were so many different models. All I knew was the n...

New member looking for help
I have a RC10 with a 6 gear tranny that needs new idler gears. Is there a source for these? They were part #6613. If I cannot fix this tranny then is a stealth tranny a bolt in replacement? Are all stealth trannys the same? What about the newer ones for todays T4's...will they bolt in?
Thanks
