Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's.. (w/ rebuild project on page 2)
Thanks guys. I never thought about making a brace for the transmission out of aluminum, I just might do that! As far as the Losi's, how did you know that's what they were? I do actually plan on changing them, I wanted some Pro-Line Gladiators for it, but my LHS doesn't stock them all the time.

Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's.. (w/ rebuild project on page 2)
Probably the last update for awhile... More important things need money spent on them... (Such as the Trans Am :-P) So I won't be putting any more money towards it for awhile (not to mention I blew my RC budget with the purchase of my Revo ) Still have a few minor adjustments to make (mostly ...

Re: lol omg fastest rc10 gold pan ever
Haha, that's pretty quick.
I'll stick with sticking a Traxxas Velineon brushless system in my RC10 with a 3S lipo.
Less chance of it starting on fire.

Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's.. (w/ rebuild project on page 2)
Well, I could also have clear powdercoated, but I figured if I was going to go through the trouble of powdercoating it, I was going to do a different color. Not to mention, I felt the polished look was going to be too bright. I've never heard of glass-coating, though. The shocks I originally bought ...

Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's...
Well, it's nearing completion now. Finally got the main tub sandblasted and powdercoated. I took the time to install the front end, steering and the rear suspension. Just waiting on some new front shocks, and some diff gear rings (one was fractured ) from Tower. I also need to make a run to t...

I like it too.
Looks like somebody used that RC for a deathmatch with something or other.

Probably the fourth or fifth forum I've read this on tonight. Shame as he was quite young, but that's life.

Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's...
Hehe, thanks. I think you're right though, the 2nd gen Pontiacs IMO are also the better looking 2nd gen. 8) Might just be the bias speaking, though. Anyway, heres another little update.. Pardon the messiness.. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/Remote%20Control/IMG_0920....

You can give it to me, nobody wants that!
All kidding aside, I'd love to find a NIB 10T!

Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's...
Ha, I probably wouldn't miss one.. ;) I've got 5 other 2nd gen Trans Ams. Only thing is, the one in my signature isn't really a WS6, but it has all the WS6 components (I installed them when I built the car) Seriously though, that's probably a lie, I like the one in my signature the most out of all t...

Re: My sorry excuse for RC10's...
So I got my Tower order in today! :D :D :D Began assembling it, only to find out the shocks I bought won't work all that well (I had my doubts, but I figured I'd try them anyway...) I need to order some different ones. No big deal. Might as well get the other things I've been wanting, such as blue a...

If you need a few of those rear body mounts I'm sure I have a few. Back in the day I swapped all mine out for different ones after I broke a front one.

Re: .your.FAVORITE.radio
I liked the older Futabas. All except for the above mentioned battery issue (pain in the neck!) I too have managed to break the battery door off of one of the three that I have, d'oh!
