Re: Grasshopper 2 or Hornet

Judging from the rear body mounts, I'd say its a Hornet with a Grasshopper body. The front wheels appear to be from a fox and have tamiya super gripper tires. The rear tires are standard Hornet tires. Both the Grasshopper and Hornet came with the nerf bars. The Hornet and Grasshopper share the same ...

Re: New arms for old RC10

Maybe he said gold pan because the 10T uses the same chassis? Regardless... You should be able to find arms for both the 10 and 10T on ebay for varying amounts of $$$ as they pop up pretty often. The other option as already mentioned is to get 3D printed parts but my personal opinion is that even th...

Re: Losi JRX Pro "SE" Custom

I let everything soak with SC1 for a day, and it looks like new. Highlighted lettering really makes them pop! Are you talking about Maxima SC1? Do you soak the tires as well as the wheels? The highlighted lettering on the black wheels looks killer! Were the black logo wheels ever sold or were they ...

Re: Converting Futaba FP-T3PB to 2.4?

Make sure the dipswitch is set to PPM on the Futaba. You might need to reverse a channel or two depending on your setup (throttle/brake, left/right, etc.) As for the RX, They are an aircraft style (but will work fine in a car) so the antennas are best positioned on a 90 degree angle https://i.imgur....

Re: TAG Coyote resurrection

I just took her out in the road for a quick spin and its pretty quick thanks to a slightly naughty motor ! the motor is a Reedy spec class and the can has ROAR 27 stamped on the front , its an odd motor though because as i understood it these should be sealed cans but this one is fully strippable l...

Re: Converting Futaba FP-T3PB to 2.4?

So I’ve read all I can find on the topic of converting a Futaba Magnum PCM 1024 FP-T3PB to 2.4. Unfortunately the threads that I have found are all a little aged and none of the modules discussed appear to be available. Is there a drop in module available now to perform this upgrade? Thank you. I r...

Re: Weird tire issue

I was just looking up some tire/acetone related stuff, and came across some info that clay compound tires will shrink and harden when exposed to acetone. I wonder if there was something incorrect in the rubber compound that was used to make that particular tire which caused it. Thanks for the info....

Re: It begins for A1003 reproduction

The prices people are asking for these on ebay are outrageous... $50, $60 and up. Its really sad....

Both my Pro and LXT have cracked and stripped holes

Fingers crosses this gains some traction as im sure im not the only one who could really use em.
