Re: Yokomo 05H Turbo motor

May be a dumb question, but as it's for 8 mins of max racing can we assume that less aggression on the trigger will make it a reliable, quick motor to use in an everday buggy?

Re: AYK - Magnum 480R motor

Thanks for the questimate about the turns winner_evo.

That AYK looks great, especially with a 480 in the back. Would love to see the body.

I have the same chassis and car to build, if I ever get around to it.

How do you find the motor?

AYK - Magnum 480R motor

Took this from the packet last night to take a look at the motor and check out the instruction / spec sheet inside the packet. Such a gorgeous looking motor , with a really chunky feel when you turn it over. Must have plenty of torgue. Nice presentation too. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50366...

Re: Vintage Ayk Radiant- how much??!!

1/2 price = NICE

Adjusted for inflation that £59.99 price tag is about £150.00 in todays money.

Would have been good to buy 3 and stash them away :D

Re: Ford v Ferrari (spoiler alert)

Good movie. Watched it in the theatre and purchased the blu-ray when it was released on the format. Have many books on the GT40 , and the most important person to the developement of that stunning race car was Ken Miles. It was also true that Miles could be "difficult" to handle , and the ...
