Tamiya is almost exclusively 850 and 1150 bearings. You can get 25 metal shielded bearings for about $12 shipped from HK. Buy 25 of each type and you'll be set for a long time.
I used to buy the 100 piece lots when we had 3 Grasshoppers, a Lunch Box, 2 Hotshots and a Clod running.
