Re: Delete
The wire tie technique is exactly what we use on the plug wires on the race cars. Nothing wrong with that 8) i really like the ziptie idea .. i bet it would be good for sodering too.. i think you can do this 2 ways (i forgot the other) is this how it was on your car Sixtysixdeuce? looks like you di...

Coelacanth, it has to do with the verbiage, combined with my mood yesterday after a long day of dealing with a$$hats on all ends of my business. Saying "to fix it" instead of "to change it" implied that there was something wrong with my method, rather than it simply being a diff...

Just not interested in discussing my projects amongst pedantic individuals who have no interest in the substance of the project itself. Seems some here would rather hash out yet another WOIN thread or somesuch than partake in something different and original. id like to see what you had up but i un...

Re: Anyone have a Tamiya King Cab?
As of this post I have one. I've had it for a few years now. It's the second one I've owned. They are pretty cool and Tamiya's first stadium truck. Like everyone knows, the Achilles' heel of these trucks is the trans. I've come up with an awesome solution to it but don't have the means to release i...

Re: wide rc10 .. widest rc10 ever?
I'd have to take some measurements, but this one I was playing around with took on a rather ridiculous stance when outfitted with foams. Of course it's wider stance only allows for more dust to collect on it at the moment... I rather liked it though. :D http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t59...

Re: First Vintage RC10 - Team Car Rebuild - RUNNER PHOTOS AD
looks great .. your runner looks better then some of my shelfers... id spend the extra cash to find another chassis to run. that milled chassis looks like a work of art.. thats the kind of chassis id want for a shelfer.

Re: Installed new RPM B4 front arms
When I got the arms it came with some new screws which are a lot bigger than the stock ones and it reused the stock pins. The screws that Rpm includes are a lot nicer than the stockers since they use a larger head and it's easier to get them out. my bad i thought it was new pins too .. i should hav...

Re: Installed new RPM B4 front arms
The stock arms definitely don't feel the same on the track. I'm just a club racer at best and I could tell the difference. They were way too inconsistent. I sold both the T4 and B4. I was irritated that I spent hundres of dollars for the kit with all the hop ups just to have it break more than an r...

Re: Installed new RPM B4 front arms
I had them on my T4 and hated them. ON a hard packed high traction Clay track they allowed a little too much movement in the front end. You could see the front end shake a little bit landing on jumps. However on a hard packed dirt track with a little moisture they were just fine. Too bad we run on ...
