Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers

SLS-printed nylon parts are surprisingly strong... I had a huge rollover with my rere-Worlds and saw steering was broken. I found 8-32 screw snapped - SLS bellcrank was OK ! http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q708/Niki2104/RC10/temporary_zps75a593f3.jpg That's good to know, on of my friends broke ...

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers

Hi David, You will get the version you ordered. There is nothing changed in Race Steering parts, in new version parts are just joined together with a sprue. In fact it was your order that got me thinking what could I do with the design to have race steering parts polished and colored without loosin...

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers

Hi Niki, I've just ordered all of the 3d printed parts from shapeways and noticed that you changed the design of the race steering just after I ordered. I ordered mine in black and now when I click on that part on my order in progress, it won't come up. (NIX91 Race steering sls) Do you think Shapewa...

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers

Hi there,

I put in an order for the chassis kit on Friday and still haven't had a confirmation email back yet?

I'm more than happy to pay upfront and am pretty excited about the chance to own and race this car.

Cheers

David

Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion

Well, this is the kit that I make- not sure which one your looking at...but it would be the same concept and look Very cool parts! Mmmm, I'm thinking I would get a tomahawk shell if I went down that path to cover the sides up. So many options, now I want another scorpion to keep stock and one to mod.

Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion

Has anyone got pics of their Scorpion with the HG shocks and carbon fiber parts yet? I've ordered the shocks and towers but they will be a few weeks away till I see them. I'm also waiting for a new roll cage as I also had 2 left hand cage parts delivered in my kit. Now I'm wondering if I should orde...

Re: Early MIP Transmisson Cleanup

That is a really cool car, part srb, part rc 10.

Where did you find it?

It should clean up really nicely.

Cheers

Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics

It looks very nice up close! I wonder if any company's will be doing hopups for the Scorpion? Kyosho themselves announced and showed a whole stack of hopups some time ago - including carbon fiber parts and strengthened chassis rails. The Ultima RB6 ball diff will drop right in, too. Here's the list...

Re: ReRe Scorpion build pics

It looks very nice up close! I wonder if any company's will be doing hopups for the Scorpion? I really want to race mine (I should have it by next week) and hopefully be able to run 2.2 wheels and modern rubber with 17.5 brushless. Doe's anyone have pics of fully hopped up Scorpions from back in the...

Re: Super A&L MIP SRB

I love it in all black but I also like the earlier yellow/orange parts version, equally lovely. BTW, was the wheel base increase?? or follow the old SRB one? how about the width now front and rear?? The wheelbase is about 3mm longer than my rc10 in short wheelbase mode and the front end is a RCH ha...

Re: Super A&L MIP SRB

Top stuff David. The orange looked pretty cool too. Does it have any bump steer with the dual bellcrank setup? It has the smallest amount of bump steer after using the long ball studs on the wheel end and a 1mm spacer on the steering arms. It took a lot of fiddling to figure it out. I haven't drive...
