Re: Super SRB
While I was waiting for the chassis and suspension parts, I decided to paint the body (J-Concepts detonator) http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/dj_kilroy/20140621_215032_zpsb32854a7.jpg http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/dj_kilroy/20140621_220900_zps8e82041a.jpg http://i221.photobucket.com...

Super A&L MIP SRB
Hey all, I decided to do this build after searching for the parts to make a MIP 4x4 for years and never being able to find all of the parts. The car has a mix of Tamiya and Associated genes with a set of MIP trailing arms and will end up being a 2wd rc 10 srb hybrid. First up I needed a chassis to m...

Re: Sand Scorcher 2010 OIN
Thanks very much for the info.
Avid have bearings in that size so I think I'll do an order and get some new bearings for my other cars as well.
I'm going to do a build thread for my project once all the parts arrive.
Thanks again
David

Very nice...
It was a pity that you had to leave early from the mini nats. That was some of the most fun racing I've ever had!

Re: Sand Scorcher 2010 OIN
Hi there, I really like how your project turned out. I have a question about the bearings for the rc10 front wheels. What is the exact size so I can order some? You said 8x5x? And do they fit the rc10 wheels without any mods? I've just started a project that will have an RCH srb 1/2 inch wider front...

Re-Release Cat
When will Shumacher re release the original Cat?
Let's put it out there and see if there is any interest.
It would be so good to see them on the track again and I think they would sell lots of them.
Lets see what people think.
Cheers

Re: Mip 4x chassis
I'd love one as well. Who is making them?
I'd like one to finish my 2wd as it would be near impossible to find the 4wd parts that I would need.

Re: Discontinued already?
It looks like Amain are negotiating another run to fulfill the orders that people made. Apparently they only received enough RC 10's to fill 6% of their orders.
I ordered through amain and missed out but was lucky to get the last one from my local hobby shop, although it was much more expensive.

Are you going to give it a run at Carine? It would be interesting so see how well it handles. My old cat 98 used to go pretty well!

Re: RC10 gold pan OIN build
Thanks for that, I'm guessing that using a B4 hub and bone wouldn't work with the standard rear arm then. I've been racing my RC 10 in stock and its been really competitive against a field of Xray and Associated 4wd's. I can't wait to get mine working with B4 wheels so I can share tires with my B4. ...

Re: RC10 gold pan OIN build
Does anyone know the difference between a b4 bone and b44? Is the B4 bone longer?
It looks like you can still get the bj4 bones from Jconcepts if that helps anyone.

Re: RC10 gold pan OIN build
He there, I've got a couple of questions relating to the conversion to B4 wheels. First question; Is the front track width the same with the B4 axles and caster blocks? Second question; How well does the rear suspension work with the B44 CVA's and hubs? Does it affect the geometry of the back end, r...

That frog is awsome! Where did you get the black wheels and what car are they from. They'd look good on my modified SRB.

Re: Shodog's collection of Tamiya's
That mip 4x4 is my favorite. I noticed that the gearbox is standing upright in the first pic and then has a different motor mount and is laying back in the other pics. What is the brand of the gold motor mount? I'm on a mission to try to find one of those nylon gear cases and turn my srb into a 2wd ...
