Re: Stealth gearbox rebuild questions
Sorry, may have said it wrong, I have the 6 balls in between the 2 washers on the right outdrive, I mean inside the gearbox, there are 2 large diff drive rings that are supposed to go either side of the main diff gear, I had both of these on 1 side. In my haste I stuffed it up , wel I hope thats it ...

Re: Stealth gearbox rebuild questions
I'm a stooge.
I just quickly pulled it apart again & I had both washers that are supposed to go either side of the diff & balls stuck together on 1 side.
I'll try it again & see if thats it

Re: Stealth gearbox rebuild questions
Thanks, I checked that, it's definalty there.
The car will move under power, just there is something spinning like crazy in the box? it does get the car going though, albeit slowly

Stealth gearbox rebuild questions
G'day guys I have recently rebuilt my stealth gearbox & I have a problem. No matter how much I tighten the torque control nut I can'r get drive to the wheels (it just spins) & it seems as though something in the actual gearbox is spinning. I also adjusted the diff thrust spring as per the ma...

Rebuild after 5 hour enduro
G'day guys Recently a few friends of mine thought that it would be really cool to use my RC10 in a 5 hour vintage enduro held at the Castle Hill track in Sydney. I thought, "Cool, 5 hours, what could possibly go wrong"..................we came dead last, broke pretty much everything, all t...

Updated 959
G'day guys
Finally got around to running my updated 959. TBG shell, repro decals & Tamiya white wheels are far nicer than the standard yellow ones.
I really like it.

Replacing 6 gear with Stealth tranny
G'day Guys Tried doing a search, but couldn't find anything. is there a how to on this Site on installing a stealth tranny to replace the standard 6 gear tranny? All I know is that I need to drill my chassis to suit the stealth, other than that, is it just a direct swap? Is there any extra parts i n...

Nah, that was just me so excited to finally get them on the car I didn't even notice LOLSynergy wrote:That looks great, nice to see the wheels in action.
Did you intentionally mount the fronts and rears in opposing orientation?

Re: Lohas has essentially remade the tecnacraft wheel
I like the wheels with the deep dish look, it makes no difference to the fitting. Are these the bearings I need? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1-8x5-16-x9-64F-Metal-Shield-Flange-Ball-Bearings-/310285986258?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item483e7c69d2 1/8x5/16 x9/64F Metal Shield Flange Ball...
