Re: BIGWIG
I have the yeah racing shocks on 4 of my vintage cars without ever a problem. I like Mark also drilled out my pistons & played around with different oil weights. U also get 2 sets of springs which is more than enough for the type of racer that I am (not much of) & u can actually get these in...

Re: BIGWIG
Hi Mark, yeh its a team blue groove shell & yes I did have to cut the back out. Quite a hard shell to cut out actually. I was going to get some nice white 2.2 inch wheels for it, but I really want the moondial wheels on it. I will probably just put a sport tuned motor in it for racing in the sto...

BIGWIG
G'day guys I finally got myself a Bigwig. When I saw this for sale, I did some research & found that it seemed to be a bit hit & miss model for Tamiya. i found more negative comments than favourabel ones. But, despite, I could not get over the looks, I really liked it more than my Hotshot, s...

Re: Rc10 Sand Scorcher racing pics
Just finished a new body for the next vintage meet . Doesn't look to bad, although I'm running out of colour scheme ideas!
Working headlights should bedazzle the other drivers LOL!

Re: Rc10 Sand Scorcher racing pics
I made the front bumper from a peice of alloy 6mm rod. It was really difficult as it has 6 bends in one length. There is also an alloy roll cage inside as well that the body is supported on so as to take hits on the track. I also have another alloy plate under the front body post for more support. T...

Rc10 Sand Scorcher racing pics
G'day guys We had a vintage meet the other wekend, in the rain, again. I raced my rc10 SS in 2WD stock. Had a ball. I think I got hit by everysingle other driver on the last run so the body has had it. But with all the reinforcements that I had made it took quite a beating! I have a new SS bodyset r...

Some Beach pics
Just resprayed my Sons SS recently & this was it's first run with the new paint job & wheels, exhaust wipers glass etc.
it looks quite nice running on the sand.
beautiful day at the beach with no one else there.
Perfect excuse to give the MB a flogging as well.
Smiles all round
